dynamo man whilst playing as megaman. it's okay as bass because you can just shoot upward to destroy his energy rechargers without him regaining too much HP. but megaman is pretty much screwed here, you'll probably only be able to destory one of the chargers. copy shot is such a shit weapon too and it's supposed to be his weakness!
actually the reason i didn't say it was because i was trying to plot that fight out of my mind and now thanks to you it has come back to haunt me.brotoad, why must we fight?
first the 3 black dots, now this :(
MM1 Yellow Devil
AHH! I'd always stuff up the jumps and at times miss the chance to hit his eye. Having no E-tanks in this game, this made it very difficult and tedious. D:

I'm awesome
I don't care if you did it legit. It's just the cheaters that piss me off. They didn't deserve their victory, I should just kill them now >:)
I could never beat Snake Man in MM3. He'd always jump into me, doing heaps of damage.
I never found him too difficult. I think the hardest to beat with your buster in Mega Man 3 was either Spark Man or Hard Man, although I need to play it again to remember!
I always start out on Snake Man when I play MM3 :cool:Quote from: "KnightMan"I could never beat Snake Man in MM3. He'd always jump into me, doing heaps of damage.

Since I was fighting this dude two days ago, I noticed he loves to jump oppositely from those edges, often tricking the player into thinking he'll go the very corners then come back ((much like Gemini Man after his clone is defeated)) then immediately jumping back to return to his corner.
Trick here is to jump over him once he gets to the bottom parts of the floor and do the same again and return to your original corner while shooting from a distance. Think of this as a more maneuverable Metal Man fight. The only thing I can say is that it gets slightly tricky when he uses Search Snake in the middle part. I can't guaranteed you'll avoid damage but if you can follow the stragedy you'll mostly likely survive with about 1/4th of your health left
BTW I attempted this with only the buster cause weapon weaknesses are for noobz :p
Yeah i'd like to practice on beating some of the mm games once with buster only... though i play more games besides megaman that give me less time to play those XD

I did 1, 2 , 4 , and 6 Buster only, I was surprised at how easy they were. Especially 1 and 6, because RMs flinch in 1 and you have the adaptars in 6.

Do you think the adaptors count under buster only runs?

Well ifi had to say which Bosses were hard Buster Only they Would Be:
-Elec Man
-Wood Man
-Ring Man
-Napalm Man
That is a mystery...Hell i was the first one to come up with the Robot Master Archive...except it was a Hologram fight between random RMs From MM1-10 and it was only 1 bossQuote from: "Blaze"Well ifi had to say which Bosses were hard Buster Only they Would Be:
-Elec Man
-Wood Man
-Ring Man
-Napalm Man
I like how half your hardest bosses came back in 10
Well ifi had to say which Bosses were hard Buster Only they Would Be:
-Elec Man
-Wood Man
-Needle Man
-Ring Man
-Napalm Man
-Plant Man
-Junk Man
-Search Man
-Plug Man (Ugh,he was HARD)
-Nitro Man (Hard Mode...Definately Harder on Hard Setting)
-Magic Man
and there was a MMVGB Boss that's a Pain Buster ONLY
But i do agree on wood man... he must be a pain with only buster.
I also have trouble with Junk man without the buster, I really don't get his pattern.
He was by far the hardest to beat with buster only.Which makes him my favorite RM to fight using only the buster. On Difficult Mode, of course. He's hard, but not impossible. Now, Needle Man...

Btw... fighting the yellow devil in mm1 just sucks! sometimes you cannot even hit him! and he loses 2 hp per shot... its just hell fighting him!
Hope to beat him soon though...
I must say i always had trouble aswell at megaman 7 wily capsule...
Untill i saw this guy do a playtrhough of the 8bit remake. Then i followed his hints and a bit of his playstyle and now i have no trouble beating him.
(it even worked for me in the original megaman 7 for those who think it would only work for the 8bit edition)(click to show/hide)
I must confess I have never beaten Yellow Devil without the pause trick. he was worse in Mega Man Powered up though, especially if you were OIL MAN
that stupid trap....thing from megaman 2.....the one that you HAVE to use crash bombs to defeat.....HATE IT!!!!............also twin devil is a pain for me for some reason, i can only BARELY beat him, his weakness....TAKES TO LONG (even if i love the black hole bomb kicks ass)
Study the pattern ^^
Quick Man Doc Robot
god damn
For me, hitting him with the gemini lasers was pretty hard...Quote from: "Mega_Luigi"Quick Man Doc Robot
god damn
Ha ha yes, I had to use his weakness (which saved my ass, lol).

It's like there's a second player mashing the fire button for Fire Man's attacks, really tough to dodge!
Quote from: "CutmanMike"It's like there's a second player mashing the fire button for Fire Man's attacks, really tough to dodge!
I think he attacks whenever he receives damage? So, if you mash B, he'll attack just like that. I really don't know about this one. Does Fire Man attacks when you do something like jumping or moving or firing, like Crash Man or Metal Man?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBRNNNTjHuk
in this video you can see that dealing with fire man buster only and perfectly is hard but not impossible, especially if you know what to do.
I just finished mm2 buster only ^^
Me is proud.

I dont know... technically the charge shot is the mega buster. They count, unless you think you're badass enough to do a no-charge run. But hey: if you can beat MM1/2/3 without a charge shot, you can beat any other game without it, right? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPScPaInWOI)
Who thinks charge shot counts as buster only?
...Roahmmythril does no charge buster only perfect runs....
just sayin......
While Burnerman remains the hardest Robot Master in MM&B for me, Airman is one one of the easiest for me.
For Airman: Jump over his tornadoes until he jumps to you. Get behind him and shoot the hell out of him. You win!
tengu man...
Atetemino: Megaman 8
Wily Capsule: Megaman 8
Quote from: "MLDKF"Atetemino: Megaman 8
Wily Capsule: Megaman 8
Atetemino I can agree with, but definetly NOT Wily Capsule in MM 8. Unless your refering to to Wily machine 8 then thats understandable considering the saw blades it releases and the cramp movement...
Tengu wants to join in :p
((Mind you these bosses were defeated using only the buster without use of Special weapons. All cept' #4 of course))
==================
Boss of Hell #1: Dive Man ((MM 4))
-All I have to say is this guy is basically a Hard Man Juggernaut. His missiles are one thing to dodge properly, though his high speed charges ((which he can direct himself in any angle mind you...)) will have you QQing in seconds. Still trying to find a strategy to take him down without popping veins :?
Boss of Hell #2 Elec Man ((MM 1))
-Simple stage if not tedious with the ladder climbing... but why is it that whenever I climb up that one ladder that leads me to his lair that he completely zaps me until my systems fry?! Well getting back to the point, despite Fire Man giving a few 3rd-degree burns with his attack, Elec Man proves to be the one who can finish me off with just three hits of his Thunder Beam and his Surge dashes without at least getting hit of my buster. Surely a boss that urges you to stay patient and focus properly.
Boss of Hell #3 Slash Man ((MM 7))
-Know what I hate? Bosses that spam one attack then leave you off guard the next. Slash Man is just ridiculous though funny when you think about it. If you were to compare Slash with Vega from street fighter, they seem to have the tendency to use that one wall jump slash attack repetitively to aggravate you on purpose. Despite that, the falling sticky fruit he releases from the ceiling can leave you immobile whether you get hit by it or not considering they stay on the floor for a while. Had to say this boss made me sweat from it's "rinse and repeat" and unpredictable pattern.
Boss of Hell #4 Atetemino ((MM 8))
-If you ever took the time to actually beat MM 8 and venture into the Wily fortress, then my friend you will know the craptacular hell I faced when I met the bag worm known as Atetemino. Let me explain how this boss works...
Your in a room with some decent maneuverability and jumping room, the only difference is that there are three chutes that drop three things: The boss, an item crate, and a crate that shoots bombs. The only way to harm perfectly it is with the Mega Ball, and the only way to make that ball connect is if you hit it at an angle. Mind you that your doing this as it drops crates on your head and miniature versions of itself on the floor so ball spamming is predicted. Mind you too that it's always switching chutes, so mostly pray that it comes out either the left or right corner. Be warned though as it comes close to defeat, another version of itself will appear as a bomb.
Boss of Hell #5 Gemini Man ((MM 3))
-Man one of my favorite RMs in the classic series turns out to be my worst thumb ache. This guy doesn't need a large explanation mainly because we all knew we got our butts whooped at least once by his attack pattern and from his partner in crime (by that I mean his double). Fun boss nevertheless...
Good job doing it as Protoman!
Now do it as Rock.
I was talking about the one from Megaman 1. not MMPU. Guess I shoulda specified.
I don't think anyone listed this boss, but..Use Jewel Satellite. That's his weakness.
FakeMan
His bullets are fast as hell, and that cop can JUMPJUMP!
I can't survive a couple minutes without getting killed.
I wonder while Wily hasn't made a boss like this earlier.
What's wrong with him?
I thought you was as you was saying stuff about Yellow Devil who was rarely mentioned on this forum.Quote from: "Alucard"I was talking about the one from Megaman 1. not MMPU. Guess I shoulda specified.
i wasn't even talking to you
