Title: Blaze MiCro Pack - V1A

A very small map-pack with four out of eight maps (releasing these four because I feel generous before working on the next four maps,) done so far. These are aimed to be small maps in size and shape. I had fun making these maps over the past year in secrecy (dome have been completed for even longer! I'm bad lel.)

Without further ado! Here are the maps:

* Smash - for naming Noiseferatu

because let's face it, you wouldn't have been able to make as horrible of a pun as I did

First map feels like Seasalt footrest Mk II...probably with better elevation differences.
My only real complaint about the map is the oil canister section because it's so secluded and...sort of difficult to pull off in the middle of a firefight.
Though...I guess that's the point, given the map is sort of close quarters and that is the way you get to Flame Sword.
The windows in this map bug me, though.

I like the fact the second map is a maze that all leads back to the center, but the mirrors and gravityman textures seem unnecessary and feel very out of place for the Shademan/Vampire castle feel you had set for the map...the moon with eyes also bugs me. I like the music, though.

...That's a strange place for Hard Knuckle.
A lot of the ladders in this map feel unnecessarily tall, especially when you take into account the items they yield. There are two Proto Buster spawns in the map and if I were to choose between the two of them, I would go with the one by the teleporter. I guess I like the layout overall, though.

Alright...last map.
My only problems here are aesthetic. The animated conveyors seem massively unneeded and look just plain weird, and you have confetti textures. Now, I don't mind Texture soup...so long as the textures going in the soup have colors that go well together. Seriously, pink and blue don't look good together no matter how you place them.

And that's my list of criticisms, I hope you enjoy them.
I also, being direct here, I don't think your name pun is cute nor clever.
I fucking refuse to acknowledge the existence of your last name.

I moved this topic to the more appropriate subforum.
You're aiming for 8 maps, and the WIP forum is for things that are waiting to go into Projects, which requires 15 maps.

Good luck with mapping!

For the most part I enjoy the more simplistic style of these maps, and they all feel like they are well suited for deathmatching fun.

Okay can't really defend the Gravity Man textures, but I found the mirrors clever considering the whole "Vampire's can't see their reflection" thing.

Ninja edited the pack. Some maps are updated after Lego pointed out a few issues and gave me a few ideas on how to fix 'em.

Redownload, please.

...That's when you make a v1b.

You also misunderstood my suggestion for the first map. You should remove the oil canisters if they're going to be up like that, or lower it back and add a different fire weapon to the map.
I would go with the former because the oil canisters clash with the theme of the map, but that's just me.

looks interesting but what version does it require.

It's a map pack, unless they use new resources from the latest version, it's generally okay to host them with just about any version.
