Hey guise. I was just passing by and this happened to knock on my door. (http://www.capcom-unity.com/jgonzo/blog/2010/09/28/mega_man_legends_3_project_announced_for_the_nintendo_3ds)3DS? Wasn't really expecting to see that.
3DS is $299 apparently.Well, hopefully by the time MML3 comes out there'll be a price drop. But looks like I'm gonna be saving up for a PSP so I can get KH: Birth by Sleep as well.
:?
Why are you guys panicking cause it's on 3DS? Remember, 3DS graphics are that of the Wiis.
Why are you guys panicking cause it's on 3DS? Remember, 3DS graphics are that of the Wiis.I'm pretty sure I wasn't panicking. I was just surprised that it wasn't going to be on PS3 is all.
And, if you're mad cause it's not on a Playstation System, well, that's how the Nintendo fans felt about MML2. :l
Wait, were you backing up my post, or, do you think I said the 3DS graphics sucked?Backing you up. I could care less about graphics but wii-equivalent graphics with shader effects commonly found on the HD twins? on a hand held. No wonder Nintendo has remained dominate of the hand held market.
Only real worry is if they put in a bunch of bad touch-screen junk. Menus are ok, and minigames/puzzles/general fun uses of it would rock, just not stuff like 'tap it to use your special move!!...while you're already trying to move around with the pad : ("
Touchpads in VG consoles are a sign of how the whole gaming industry is adapting itself towards casual gamers, since they're it's main target.
Before you know it, controllers will be ancient history, my friend :ugeek:.
Then is it wrong that I view Rock Band and Guitar Zero as Casual games?
I was writing a top ten worst touch screen control examples but it never got finished. Probably couldn't think of a whole 10 but Diddie Kong racing was very high. You'll know why if you've played it.Please don't tell me that Starfox Command made that list.

Are you kidding me? Some games have made brilliant uses of the touch screen such as Metroid Prime Hunters and Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver's Menu.
Fact is, the touch screen adds options for stuff that would otherwise just be another button you have to worry about. Less Clutter. You can have buttons that do what it needs to do.
But hey, if you're going to complain about touchscreens being an alternate form of input, complain about guitar hero/rockband instruments as well same idea, different forms of input. This has nothing to do with casuals.
Two Paragraphs of Stuffs
"people who play games just for the heck of it"Congratulations, you missed the entire point of gaming all together. For the record, I could name plenty non-nintendo games.
Nexus, how is that going to help us?Some people are theorizing that MML3 will be running off MT Framework Mobile engine that's being developed for the 3DS. I simply decided to post that link from this article over at Protodude's (http://protodudesrockmancorner.blogspot.com/2010/10/will-legends-3-utilize-mt-framework.html).
If the vid is posted give US a link.
I think Inafune(sp?) said the gap between that would be closed by cutscenes or something.Fixed your spell check request.
At another forum I go to, when Mega Man Legends 3 was announced, one user said it was a joke, a running gag from Capcom, and that if it was real, he'd eat his hat.lawl That's awesome!
He's been banned until he uploads a video of him doing so. Like, seriously banned. Don't mess with Legends 3.

/me wonders why your so interested in a FPS Megaman Fangame then.
Cause it's Mega Man and full of awesome. The amount of blogs and tweets I've seen starting in "I'm not interested in FPS games BUT..." is outstanding. If I can convert people over to start playing FPS games who previously didn't, who knows what I could do next
You're comparing a game thats in development hell for 12 years to a game that just started production? Nice analogy.(click to show/hide)
I just found the pic on Encyclopedia Dramatica, no need to argue
/me wonders why your so interested in a FPS Megaman Fangame then.Because Mega Man 8-Bit death Match doesn't contain blood and zombies.

OR that the reason as to why I said it's LIKE our "Duke Nukem Forever" is mainly due to a lot of us waiting to see if it was even going to happen.
When people heard that "Duke Nukem Forever" is STILL going on and going to be released sometime soon, people are freaked.
Now that us Legends nuts heard that Legends 3 is being worked on as of this point ((full progress being put towards it after Universe is completed)), we had the same reaction as the Duke nuts.
Therefore the point is, we're finally getting our beloved games that we waited for a decade or over.
I hope they pick-up where the last one left off, I wanna know if Trigger ever gets back to earth!I prefer to call him by his new name, Volnutt. BESIDESTHEPOINT.
Okay, okay, I've done it. Don't kill me please.
Ugh, I remember seeing my friend emulate Legends 2 and playing in Nino Ruins. The frame rate gets even crappier just being in the water :|Yeah, I was playing through that part a few weeks ago. Probably cringed more playing that part than when I first played Megaman X4 and watched the game's cutscenes.
I'm rooting for Ryuji Higurashi's design.
Uh hello, it's a freaking Servbot! If I was there I would've applauded with them.Hey, so would I! Servbots are like staples of the Legends series, like how Mets are to the Classic series!
4Chan* is calling this whole voting thing "The Waifu Wars". Basically they're voting on the character they want based on how much they want to screw them.I would expect nothing less from that place.
*I don't go on 4chan, my brother does. He's told me about it.
andbyadorablebuttbutthatsbesidesthepoint.
Ryuji 5th place?! Blasphemy!!What this man said!
I don't know about you guys, but I think the pun made by the guy who won first place was...Legendary.
