Is it downloadable somewhere?
You do realize this show gave someone a seizure for bad dialog right?
Wait, the cartoon gave someone a SEIZURE?
When I was first introduced to the ruby spears MM cartoon I dismissed it almost immediately because of it's horrible plots, corny dialogue and incorrect robot master powers and designs. I watched every episode though because I thought it was laughably horrible.
But I realise the error of my ways. I mean, to be fair, it's pretty damn good fan service. Sure some of your favourites may not be in the show, or may not talk or fight as much as you'd hoped, but the fact they're THERE to begin with and look enough like the little sprites from the NES, is what all a kid like me needed. If the show aired here while I was playing 1-6, I think I'd be even more of a mega fan than I am now! It's the same with the Street Fighter cartoon. It has all the characters from the game, and even though most of the dialogue is terrible it could have done FARRRR worse (see mortal kombat, battletoads cartoon, Captain N (YES CAPTAIN N DAMMIT)).
And actually come to think of it, some characters were portrayed just the way I wanted them to. Capcom may not have wanted gutsman being as big as a doofus as he is but he was big and strong so that automatically makes him a dumbass in a kid's world. Dr. Wily is also as crazy as I wanted him to, if not BETTER. Dr. Light is fine as a general wise old dude too even if he was... fuckin' scary sometimes. Proto man wasn't exactly what I imagined, being sided with Wily FULL TIME but he was a cool ONLY I CAN KILL MY BRO kinda thing which I did like. Oh and Rush being a scooby do ripoff couldn't have been better
So I salute you, Ruby Spears cartoon, for bringing the robot masters to our tv screens as often as you did. I mean, how many times have you seen your favourite robot master appear in a cartoon OFFICIALLY from Capcom? A lot friggin' less.
I think a lot of people who criticize (those retarded youtube poop lovers) the show need to lighten up and realise that the budget probably wasn't there to make it as epic as they hoped, and of course IT WAS FOR CHILDREN

The problem I have with the show is that they have to make Megaman seem super strong and cool and all the other robots weak.
In episode 4 ring man goes all cool and breaks in to a mueseum, and as soon as Megaman appears he kills him in a shot, makes a funny pun "my turn to play ring a round the robot", and steals his weapon :ugeek:

Yeah... but not Pharaoh Man. He punched the hell out of Mega after getting his weapon stolen.
Also KUNG FU CUTMAAAANHe better not give Roll a bad haircut, then he'd really be toast!
Watching all the shit that gets put on TV for kids these days (things thrown together in flash or 3ds max), I actually fear for my future children's early tv. I don't want them to see that crap. I want them to grow up with He-man, Trap Door, Thunder Cats, Scooby Doo, Transformers and all that good shit. The way God intended!
...no offence meant to anyone, but I'd like to have not-gay sons...Excuse me but how can watching a cartoon suddenly make you a homosexual? Putting "no offence" in your post doesn't make it inoffensive.
My favourite of all time is Samurai Jack. I was going to post a top 10 cartoons from my childhood. It looked something like this:
1. Samurai Jack
2. Samurai Jack
3. Samurai Jack
4. Samurai Jack
5. Samurai Jack
6. Samurai Jack
7. Samurai Jack
8. Samurai Jack
9. Samurai Jack
10. Samurai Jack
I have four words for all of you.
Ed.
Edd.
And.('n?)
Eddy.
Best cartoon of all time in my opinion. A serious staple of my childhood, life, et al. If I were to write an autobiography, a whole chapter would be dedicated to it and how it's impacted my life.
ed was the best character by far. that kid with the plank was pretty damn great too though!
According to an interview with Danny Antonucci (a special feature on the Season 1 DVD set), the characters were based on real people in his life. The personalities of Ed, Edd, and Eddy are based on personal traits of himself, and the activities of his two sons. The Eds also held personality traits of The Three Stooges, who were a comedy trio whose various characters they portrayed in each short subject film often try to create money-making schemes, but their plans end up backfiring near the end of their films. The cul-de-sac kids were based on kids he grew up with. Antonucci also stated that he believed it was important to add Plank to the show, stating that he "thought it would be really cool to do the show with Plank taking on a character of his own" and to cause Jonny to do things he would usually never do. He also stated that Rolf is strongly based on himself and his cousins, since he was part of an immigrant family, and grew up in a first generation foreign household with different customs and ways of living, compared to those born in Canada. In a Cartoon Network podcast interview, Antonucci hinted at the Kanker sisters being based on someone from his personal life, as well.
I only find it annoying if a topic is derailed and a question is unanswered, or if the topic author wanted it to stay on topic.
