Title: 8BDM problem

Sorry for being the token stupid newbie, but I cant get the game to work. It tells me skulltag is missing, when I SEE it right there, and then my computer says it quarantined a virus. :|

So i downloaded again, and then it (in addition to finding a virus,) gives me this.

Umm, help please? Id appreciate it.

Skulltag gets this a lot, most likely because it uses networking stuff. I would recommend disabling your antivirus or adding it to it's "allow" list or something, if it can do that. Just curious, what antivirus is it?

Also you need to extract the contents of the zip into a folder for it to work

Verizon Internet Security Suite.

It did the same when I extracted it.

Actually looking at the error it looks like it's coming from MM8BDM.exe which is my home made launcher. Can you try extracting everything else?

That worked I assume? Weird.

Well anyway, you should get yourself a launcher like Doomseeker that hopefully your antivirus isn't going to attack. I recently wrote a tutorial on Doomseeker, so check it out!
