You know how Scorch Wheel and Mirror Buster have a white bar on top of the normal one that displays how much time an action has before it ends, right? I wanted to suggest using that same aesthetic in reverse for Pharaoh Shot. Make the white bar rise to show how much the weapon has charged. Sure, you know when it's at maximum when it flashes, but it's good to know when that's going to happen in the middle of a fight.

This.
Most charge weapons have a way to tell the player the charge level they're at: the charge sound effect. Pharaoh Shot is a silent charger so a visual cue is needed, but then again mid-charge shots haven't really been balanced or even taken seriously into account when making weapons, so if anything a charge indicator on Pharaoh Shot is to acurately let the player know how long it takes to charge a full charge shot.

An idea I had for this case was to have the top portion of the screen show a small part of the Pharaoh Shot charging, as if it was "within FOV"

I would prefer something like that over a charging bar, because then we would need to add them for every charging weapon just to be consistent, even though those weapons are visually obvious when they are fully charge.
