Title: Gizmo's (basement) Workshop of stuff [Sorta maybe kinda working on something]

All of the above is severely outdated. I haven't tried the weapons out but the classes won't even open in this version of Zandronum or 8bdm. Since I'm sort of retired from Decorate, I would normally just label this as closed indefinitely.
But I don't really want to let my old projects die completely, so I've decided to try and put all my stuff into one big pack. This includes my classes (Smash, Gizmo, and others that never saw the light of day) and my weapons.

I don't have any real official name for it, so for now I will just dub it

Smash and Co.

Because I'm only going to be working on this as a side project to my other non-8bdm related creations, I don't think this is worth bumping the thread for. At least not until I have something else to show other than a bland teaser.

isn't that weapon essentially just speed burner without the charge

it's neat that someone made it though, and it was probably good practice

Speed Burner? This is my first time hearing of it, actually. :T

Well, glad you like it. Also I'm aware of the fact that you can't refill ammo; I kinda forgot how to deal with that.

WEPACS, you just add all your weapons and ammo types to the arrays and compile it.

Thank you, Lego. Through that I was able to get proper colors, (FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, FREAKING FINALLY. Dunno whether it was WEPACS being easier to understand or Slade being more competent than SLumpED.) and I even added the weapon to the LMS Rotation.

Feel free to redownload now.

So I went ahead and made a couple more weapons to go alongside Flame Stream. I didn't see Flame Stream show up in the LMS Rotation though when I tested earlier, so you'll probably still have to use the console to get em.
Title: Future Plans for Smash
Post by: SmashTheEchidna on October 08, 2014, 01:43:15 AM
So, Ice is looking at Smash again, and hopefully the issue with his directional inputs (and even more hopefully, his wall-kicks (or lack thereof)) will be resolved.

In the meantime, I'm trying to plan out what to do first when I get back to him. I've been looking to replace a few of his special moves; those being Ground Pound (Standard Aerial), Spin Punch (Sideways Aerial) and Bone Crusher (Sideways Ground). I'm a little bit low on ideas on what to replace them with, (I'm pretty sure I knew beforehand, but it's been so long and I don't think I jotted any notes down.) So, I'm up for suggestions. What kind of melee attacks do you think would be good for Smash?

Some people wanted me to bring back Dragon Swarm, so I might try that again.

EDIT: Okay it looks like I DID jot these notes down. In his To-Do list, even.

Even so, I'm still up for suggestions, as some of these I feel iffy about.
Title: Re: Gizmo's (basement) Workshop of stuff [Smash Fixed]

Smash is (mostly) fixed now, so I updated the download link for him. Ice is still working on fixing some of the issues, but the main problem has been dealt with. Once he gets the wallkicks working, I can take it from here.

Once again, your help is greatly appreciated, Ice!
