I personally prefer Generations' take on it, myself. But going by fan-remixes, yes. That is definitely the best. Heck, Project Chaos made some pretty neat remixes in general. Hydrocity comes to mind in particular.

It's what I'm thinking. Remixes of other video game songs have been made for other video games for decades, and it's not like VGM remixes don't fit the other VGM thread that currently exist. I think "freelancer VGM remixes you love" fits here a bit more.

Phew, that's a lot, and that's not counting remixes featured in official games. (A lot of the SSB series' soundtracks would be here.)

I love the Great Fairy's Fountain one. I always play it on loop whenever I listen to it. The Sonic hedgehog one is also one of my favorites.
