So yeah. I have downloaded doomseeker (for windows [from the tutorial forum post]), extracted the files into a new folder, and tried to launch doomseeker, and I get This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. I have tried this approximately 5 times, so...
What do?
(P.S. Someone do some possession or CTF modes on the internal browser already ;) )
Oh and by the way recent sources point to King Dumb being a terrorist

Is it in the MM8BDM folder? I dunno if this is the problem but thats how I have mine setup and it works, I had to mess around with the configuration for a bit so I could actually see the megaman games. I think it started working right when I unticked the test releases checkbox under Engines> Skulltag. Hope this helps.

I've put it in a folder on the desktop, a folder in the mm8bdm folder, all files in the 8bdm folder, and still it holds disdain for my attempts. I'm not even to the test releases tick box, I click the red D Doomseeker program and then big happy error box yells at me. :(

Try putting it in C:/whatever rather than your desktop.

Tried putting it in C:/, no dice (still). It doesn't like me.
It's in documents and settings/my documents/downloads.

You may have to post your problem here. What OS are you using?
-
Windows XP
Edit: I registered at Skulltag (including the e-mail activation), logged in, and the post button in the bugs forum is gone. Is this a spam prevention method or something or do they hate me too? :P

Try in skulltag discussion > Q/A
They changed the bugs thing to a new bug tracker, but you may as well just post about it there see if anyone has an answer

Posted. Maybe now that I have to wait, I can finally start doing my homework!

Oh boy I might have found it out... But I don't like the fix, because this isn't my computer :(

^ For others who do not fear Microsoft updates
Final edit:
THE EXITING CONCLUSION:
After over 100 Microsoft updates, Doomseeker does work. Just in case anyone wanted to know.
