the most true thing is WOW, Skulltag and school and little kids. I hate them aswell.

On ST forums Soul Priestess purged me with only 1 warning, and the mistake I do not wish to talk about. Also too many fags and since the new moderation, you cannot post like you were able to last year.

Also same with DRD Forums all because it seemed as 1 mistake.

WOW seems so shit, tooo many kids saying nothing but "you are a noob", when they don't even think of the thing of "they all were noobs once" and you have to pay to play.

School has too many guys who act gay. (well, mine does)

and kids are annoying, especially when they are moderating forums, although they are younger than me.'


I also hate

People kick voting me on gvh servers because I can always seem to kill them because they suck. Bigtime. Hasn't happened in a while.

Skulltag's mega restrictions.
Especially when they made a 30 sec name change time, and the 10 minute bans for being kicked, even if it was accidental client flood.
And them blocking client side Dehacked. Now my model pack has restrictions again.
Now I think soon they will block client modeldef just to piss me off.

Interesting. I can be such a hatefull person at times, GVH sometimes gets the blood boiling, hmm... what can i think of.

Creepers!
Screamers
Needles (those things used in hospitals, etc)
Admins that never think about themselves or their rules being a problem
Hmm... Hunters too
Wasting time (i prefer to use it as much as possible for games)
Dieing by cheap ways (mainly GVH related)
Changes to programs/things/etc that just makes things worse for me
(Protozoid) Slimers (Duke Nukem 3D related)
Any other kind of facehuggers and screenrapes

Hmm... Nothing else comes to mind, for now. I'm sure someone might have hated me in GVH for one or another reasons. :P
Hmm... People seem to hate WoW for the people it has. It is way more enjoyable if you have a good friend or two on it.

Oh, another thing comes to mind:
I dont like exessive moderating on servers either. Vote kicks keep the trolls/spammers out, but admins tend to keep the fun out.

I didn't mention nor even hint that he was not allowed to express his opinion. If you look at the Oblacek server that gets about 24 people at a point in the day, then tell me that having no admins around whatsoever is fun. The constant spamming votes for different maps/ridiculous winlimit changes and chat spam is really fucking lame with all the "SUPARHAX"ER""000oo0000""""0o0" people who do all the shit. Some of us just want to enjoy the game without the nuisances. If you really think that dealing with idiots is fun, then think about it as if you were apart of Skulltag's staff, and then see how fun it is.

And telling others to F8 for the chat spammers is not going to do anything, so don't say shit about that. We shouldn't have to block all incoming messages just because of some dumbass in the server spamming it up.

I think Ventris is talking about a different server (Ariel's). I'm pleased to announce that I finally got rcon permissions for Oblacek, so people are going to have a nasty shock when they start being retarded while I'm on the scene and suddenly they can't join the game any more.

Meh, might be the kind of thing i can handle myself in. I prefer servers where there's basically no law, except no cheating.
Ah, good times, they messed with me, i gave them a good beating untill they gave up. :P
Sure, having some admins around is usefull, removes the spammers more easily, but since the behaviour in skulltag can be... rather rude, conflicts of the likes of discussions or claims of someone cheating could be ignored. Else it removes all the freedom i'd say.

Hmm... I'd stay on topic but i cant think of a thing to add to the list. Except maybe lousy admins, and people abusing the rcon. :P

All of this post I agree with.  About the bisexual thing though, I just plain don't like it whether you are actual bisexual or are just pretending because everyone else is doing it.  I don't like it even more when you're in a relationship with both a boy and a girl - I view that as cheating.  Oddly though I have no issues with people who are plain homosexual though.  For some reason it's only the bisexuals that aggrivate me, mostly due to their personalities most of the time.  They're usually all "Oooh yeah I'm bisexual I'm dating two people etc. am I cool or what?"

EDIT:  Also.  ENOUGH GODERN ZOMBIES, and ENOUGH GODERN VAMPIRES.  They were cool before the media and everyone and their sister started spamming it all over the damn place.  Every month we've had two vampire movies, and at least one video game a month with Zombies.

Oh, yeah, I'm aware of that.  It's like this... I have two bisexual friends.  One of them is faithful and dates one person at a time.  I like him more.  The other one dates one girl and one guy at a time.  I like her less.

From what I've seen, there are very few bisexual people who prefer men and women 50/50, it's usually one over the other. Having said that, I don't know many bisexual people.

I won't even begin to say I understand how that feels, because I don't, but I also really don't like people who judge others by something that shouldn't affect their personality. To semi-quote Martin Luther King, I agree that people should be judged by their character and personality, not by the colour of their skin or sexual orientation.

So as you can imagine, i don't really have any friends who are very ignorant, because I can't be around people like that (and that's that I consider myself a very patient and somewhat universal person). At least on here (if but a small area) we hope that there isn't any objectification of this kind, because I don't stand for it either.

I was almost a bully once.  In the first grade I was taller than most kids.  One day this new kid showed up and tried to take my best friend from me and I yelled at him and made him cry.  I didn't even hit him.  I hated the feeling.  I apologized to the kid the next day and we all became good friends.

Anyway, got a new thing that I hate.  People who never shut up about relationships, whether that means they're in one or want to be in one or miss their "boo" or whatever.  I had to block more than half of the people in my Facebook friends because every single status update was that.

It sucks. It really does. I go as far as completely hating who I used to be. I don't get how I could be such an asshole to people. My Mom always said I would regret these things later, but I was a naïve little bastard and basically lived for the moment alone. Either I didn't believe her, or I simply did not care. I appreciate that fact a lot now.

That guy in particular remained my best friend for probably 5 years (before he moved away, pretty much. He only moved like 30 minutes away, but it was enough to make us not hang out anymore...probably haven't seen him for 4-5 years now). We hung out ALL the freakin' time. Every day for several weeks in a row, often sleeping over at his place and shit like that. Skipping school to hang out, play games & skateboard. I really don't think I will ever have such a friend again.

I really wish I could just do it all over again, as the person I am today.

Deep story, and sorry to hear about losing your friend. I really hope you two could catch up in future as best mates. We all do things we regret, but when it costs a friend, that really sucks.  :(

Sometimes it's natural that you hang out less with some friends (either they move away or something or other) but I can understand that losing a best friend would be pretty deep. As for the mistakes we make, it's good that we do realise it in the end, otherwise we wouldn't stop. I for one have regretted a few things from the past, though a lot of them were things I didn't do.
I made a new best friend (doesn't replace the other one though, lol) but yeah, I can't imagine growing further from them, and I don't want to. Though things change, I want to have control of some things, and for this case, I don't want to lose them, ever.

I hope you do see him down the track Vyreman, and catch up like old times, even if every now and then.  :)

Thanks a lot for the compassion, Snake33AU. It means much to me. Hopefully, it will be as you say, and I'll get to meet up with him in the future. Even if only as in the latter case; every now and then. I would be more than pleased with that.

It's been hard on me, I cannot deny that. I tried to hit him up on Facebook a few weeks ago and try to sort of befriend him again by sharing the fact that I had found an old invitation card to a birthday party of his from several years ago. I don't know, I thought I could get him all nostalgic as well, to the point he wanted to talk to me. Of course, nothing changed. Thinking about this situation further, I realize I have, since I stopped being with him, entered a different era of my life. Not just that, but one of very few eras my life will come to consist of. It makes you realize how short life is.

I seriously have no idea how we could grow apart like this, given just how close we were. We did so much together and spent so much time doing practically nothing. The latter was just as fine, because we did nothing together. Oh, and I realize I have the power to try to change this, by maybe giving him a call or asking if we could meet up, but it's unfortunately just not that easy to get into things again. I certainly wish it was.

Sorry if I'm coming off as a bit gay. But he WAS the closest friend I've ever had. I've had two other close friends as well, both from before this guy came into my life, but I haven't felt any regrets about growing apart from them. It felt more natural. And to be honest, I didn't at all have as much fun with any of them as with John Doe (as you shall know him as). The memories will live on, I suppose.

Ahh Vyreman, i haven't sat to consider how short life is yet (might be coz I'm only 24) oh wow, I nearly put my age as 23, lol, but yeah, I do realise time flies above our heads much faster than I'd want.

I know what you mean about these eras, and it's something that in a way is both necessary but often sad in a nostalgic way. To be honest, I've had a few best friends you could say, but unfortunately I don't always hang out with all of them. Although it's gotten to the point where two of them (one I've known since high school and one I've known for only two years) have become so close that I cannot imagine what it would be like if this friendship "dwindled" or "died down." In fact, even thinking further, and thinking that it would end is something that strikes me deep. A part of me would be taken away, and I wouldn't be the same. Sometimes change makes you different in a positive light, but losing these people would affect me very negatively.

How long since you spoke to him last? And yeah, nostalgia can get the better of people sometimes, so I hope it works. Even if he's sorta moved on, he cannot simply forget the good times (i know i get that way with some people I haven't seen in ages, and those who I don't have this major urge to immediately contact either). Ha ha man, nothing gay with having a friend really close like that. Almost family? And I agree, sometimes with my best friend(s) I don't mind even hanging out together and doing nothing, so long we're together. It's a deep feeling, a genuine one really.

Memories get the better of me too. I'm pretty... er... what's the word? I guess a historic romantic? lol. Sounds really corny but I couldn't think of any better word. I seem to romanticize about the past, get very nostalgic (I wouldn't be on this forum if Mega Man wasn't so influential as a child, lol) and I often sit and wonder, and remember the good old days. I know I can't please everyone, but a catch up with some old friends would be nice.

I do hope you do get to contact him again, coz losing a great friend like that must be pretty hard. Sometimes we move on but sometimes it's a lot harder. Strange though (and I will wrap this up) that this group of friends I had I was really really close to, used to hang out every weekend, thought this wouldn't change, but eventually we stopped seeing each other for months on end. I guess it's different with individuals. These two major friends I hang out with (one guy from highschool and one girl who I met from another friend) I cannot bare to imagine my life without them.  :? It would be like taking a piece of me away.

I love L4D2 way more then L4D, except possibly character wise. But in terms of gameplay, L4D2 improved it in every aspect. In terms of infected, L4D2 improved it again.

And keep in mind, I pretty much hate most modern FPS's. I just love L4D for being so different, where team work actually is what makes you succeed or not. Well, I like pretty well all Valve titles.

I hate the fact Portal is considered a revolutionary title. If it wasn't for it's dark humour, the game would have been a flop. Sure the portals are nice, but the amount of levels and variation is severely lacking. I loved Glados but how short the friggin thing was left me starving for more. My Doom mod ZPortal was WHAHAHEEEEEEEEEY longer!  :evil:

I actually loved Portal, short but sweet.

They're promising Portal 2 to be more complex, have more levels, and more obstacles.

That's also one of the reasons I liked Portal, it was simple and there isn't tons of stuff to memorize.

Glados is funny, but she's(?) nothing compared to SHODAN.

I like both the L4D series and TF2. It takes a lot more team-work to win than some previous multiplayer games *cough* Counter-Strike! *cough* lol.
Although it did feel like L4D1 was pretty much a MOD, it was still fun, and I liked the characters' personalities (something you don't get a lot in MP games). L4D2 I think went further. Sure, some people think it went over-the-top, but I think they just expanded it to it's fullest, and it's most fun with a group of your friends while spamming the mic about both things happening in game and just random shiz, lol.

TF2, is another winner. Not only did I prefer TFC over CS in the past, but this new TF seemed to go deeper. I also love the classes' personalities, very cartoonish but oh so amusing.

I hate people who join your team and do nothing but f*** around. =S It has happened in L4D a few times, which is why I prefer playing with people I know.

As for Portal, I haven't played much of it, but it intrigued me. Bleh, I still gotta play Ep 1 and 2 before 3 comes out (I have plenty of time, lol).

Ah, yes. That's very present as well. But you can just mute them, AFAIK. At least in Source. I always have the voice receive volume very low.
