Japanese voice actor Chikao ?tsuka has tragically died on January 15th 2015 of a heart failure. He was 85 years old.

He voiced a wide variety of characters in video games, such as Big Boss from the Metal Gear and Dr. Eggman from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchises. However, us Mega Man fans probably know that he also voiced Dr. Weil (http://megaman.wikia.com/wiki/Dr._Weil) from the Mega Man Zero games.

Farewell, Chikao. May you be at peace at last.

I also remember his voice fondly from Tekken 5, where he voiced Jinpachi.

His work in VAs was remarkable, and he will be very well missed.

He was also the voice of Gold Roger from One Piece, from what I hear.
He was a great actor and I can't really imagine who could take his place(s). R.I.P.
