Please report any issues you have here.

Do you experience the lag on any other sites that use google ads? Do you notice any other elements that could be slowing you down? Maybe the ajax tree menu?

Precondition Failed

Apache/1.3.33 Server at cutstuff.net Port 80
My PMs bork themselves if I try using the quote tags

Code: [Select]
[quote]stuff[/quote] Works, but I get this error with [quote="Name"]stuff[/quote]

The ads are usually a looping swf, which can slow down the internet browser because it has to keep processing it.
anyway, who uses the links in the ads?

oh, and with the PM's, anything with quotes, you cannot preview or send them.
Maybe try upgrading the code for the PM's, if it is possible.

Okay thanks to 34sp's damn good support the PM problem should be fixed. It was whenever a " was entered in the PM. Strange, but there ya go. Let me know if you have any other issues.

Not sure what to make of the laggyness. Try another browser and report back.

I can confirm the lag with my computer when the ads are on.
I turned them off using noscript and poof, it has no lag anymore.

Your signature contains 152 characters. The maximum number of allowed characters is 1.

That's intentional. If people want to know your website link, favourite game or what you're working on at the minute they'll look into it without having to see it in every single post. They're disabled ;)

Okay you can have signatures now but they only appear in your profile. You can't display them in the forum. Har.

What is the point in having them if no-one can see it without looking at a profile?

I don't like people clogging up reading space on the forum with pictures and links in every post. ;)

Well, it does make reading through posts faster without all that excess clog you usually need to scroll through.

just put a limit of like 20 letters by signature, i think what a url+the code will need more what 20 letters for.

Dammit, seems that PM bug is back to haunt me but it's still not working even without "'s in the message. If anyone else gets this let me know.

Bump!

We just recovered from a mod installation fail. This is the last time I'm dicking around with forum mods that's for sure. Keep your eyes peeled for any issues.

I just changed my occupation, switched avatars twice, and PMed myself all without incident. :D

I'm also using Firefox, if that makes a difference.
