I hadn't seen anyone make a video about this yet so I did:
Just shows off the 3 hidden skins in MM8BDM.
-
I have two theories about the hidden skins (and associated hidden bots):
1. There's codes the devteam isn't letting us in on that let you play with them. (And I don't mean the console "skin" codes.)
2. They're to be "downloadable" content, much like Bass was "downloadable" in Mega Man 10 or Roll and the extra stage packs were "downloadable" in Mega Man: Powered Up.
I wanted to make a topic about this myself, but I didn't really want to ruffle any more feathers than I already had. XD

1: This might be the case.
2: Nope. All downloadable content, as far as I know, will be in expansion packs of some sort. Or at least, I think so.

They can't sell anything or Capcom can sue them.
-
What he means is that the "downloadable" content he mentioned was actually in the game, but you had to pay to unlock them. They were passed off as "downloadable" but they were really already there.
-
can boss skin like yellow devil be obtained? also is there a code i can use to face bosses directly instead of playing each chapter again. also "enker" is quite the imaginative boss
-
Apparently, there's a boss rush mode once you beat the game. I wouldn't know, I stopped after MM2 and am waiting for Mike to shorten the matches to continue.
Also, no, they can't be obtained because they aren't skins. They are things (that's the official term in Doombuilder) and stage textures.

is there any indication that mike will be done soon with that patch soon? either way i suppose ill keep progressing through this version of the story mode. wish me(and my poor fingurs) luck

And that's why I stopped playing: it was taking so long my fingers were beginning to hurt. Actually, now that I think about it, in the time it took me to beat Mega Man 2's stages, I could have actually beaten Mega Man 2!

Downloadable content isn't always sold. In the case of Left 4 Dead, for example, the downloadable content was free for the computer versions!

And that's the joke! 8D
Also, as far as I can tell, the boss rush mode doesn't unlock anything. Or it might be limited to that play session. I didn't test too thoroughly, myself.
Edit: Well, there's something. Apparently, if you're playing a game and someone's using the hidden skins, it unlocks the spotted skin (and bot?) for you, too! Unfortunately, this only applies once per play session. If you quit the game, the hidden skins (and bots) don't stay unlocked. :(

You sir may have these mad props yo. I enjoy the hidden skins, I have a question though... I have only ever played through Megaman 1-3 (NES versions) is there actually a game where Dr.Wily is in that skull suit?
