I think that the people on this forum are "chill" enough to contribute to this topic without causing Drama.
Anyway, here's my list:
1: Religion. We need to get rid of it to evolve. Religion make people do stupid things. Religion makes people bias. I don't like it :(
2: Modern popular music. Get rid of this repetitive Dance, Justin Beiber shit. Music is no longer an art. It's just all about money now. The industry just look for the most generic trash they can think of because the know it will sell.
3: Modern FPS titles aka Money generating shit. This is just as bad as music. FPS's now are just about online gameplay. Online gameplay being full of who could contribute to the human race. By hanging themselves. The graphics in the games must be brown. You must run as fast as a house.
4: Movie title the video game. I can only name 2 good Movie videogames. The Lion King and Hercules was pretty good. However, it's usually about. "Hey this movie is popular. Quick, pull a videogame out from your arseholes so we get moneys.
5: Bad dancing games... My childhood, where I played DDR on my PS1. It was fantastic. Beating all the songs, bouncing to the beat of the song. Then I go round one of my school friend's house. They had a dance mat as well :) . It was quite popular back then. However... the dance game was some shitty company who knew that dancing games were popular back then. So I ended up playing some off-sync piece of shit. The only good dancing games that exist...

Lets really test that theory... :twisted:
1: Religion. The sooner we separate practical ethics and metaphysical speculation from the patently obvious efforts of a bronze age theocracy to enforce their will as law with fear of an omnipresent boogieman, the better off we'll all be.
2: Political parties. Almost everything wrong with democratic government could be fixed overnight if candidates weren't tied to a party line in order to receive campaign funding and were judged by the voting public as individuals rather than just players on team A or B.
3: Exploits. Finding the loopholes in any given system (a game, a financial market, laws, software architecture, etc.) is clever and commendable work, but people should be ashamed of abusing them to get ahead instead of reporting them so that the functioning of the system can be improved for everyone.
4: Discrimination. Nobody should be proud that the US has it's first black president, but rather should be astounded that his race is even an issue. I don't care if the next president is a bisexual asian m>f tranny dwarf as long as the elected person can competently perform the duties of the office.
5: Social Engineering. What buisness is it of yours if I want to drop out of school at age 10, smoke, drink, shoot heroin, have unprotected sex with strangers, play violent videogames, watch porn, eat fast food with as much salt and grease as I can find, not buy health insurance and cut the seatbelts our of my car? Anything I do that doesn't hurt anyone but myself or other consenting individuals shouldn't be subject to laws of any sort, period.

I dont agree on the religion part... Im a religious person myself and i dont do any messed up shit. Its people with messed up minds that screw all those things over. Its just the extremists that take it a step to far.
I also know non religious people that mess up way more so saying religious people are idiots is hypocrite.
1: I do agree on all the money making popular shit... All the "call of duty" things and such and like you said Justin bieber...
2: Racism. In my country we have an idiot trying to rule the country and shut off the borders or whatever... While i see dutch people screw over the country way more then foreign people. (yes sometimes i hate other dutch people)
3: Money itself. It does make the world go round and it keeps people in place and makes us work... But if we get back to the trading way of life we could manage by making whatever we can and trade it for food or clothes... you get the point.
4: Weapons. And then i mean guns,knifes and whatever you can use to start a war. Its all about dominance and showing who's boss. People use these things to strike fear to other people and to rise above them.
And then we have people saying the recent humans dont have animal instincts...
5: Prejudgment. Just because someone might be dressed diffrent or has a lump on his head doesnt nessisarily make him/her an idiot or poorly educated. Just saying... Being a metalhead and wearing lost of black clothes didnt make me stupid or anything.

i sorta agree on the minecraft thing, i mean, i really love the game but the forums actually managed to make the steam forums look intelligent.
notch once made a joke about adding hamsters into the game amost other silly things and about 5 minutes later someone put hamsters into the "future mobs" section on the wiki
plus plenty of bitching about lack of updates or whatever

Not trying to turn this into another GRR MINECRAFT thread, but I think Minecraft is appealing because it's VERY easy to get creative with it, and show off your creations with friends/randoms. It was kinda the same with blockland (essentially the same thing but lego, and better cause it had DEATHMATCH). Unfortunately, the more attractive a game is the more idiots and obsessive fans you'll get following you.
I'll stick with blockland :mrgreen:

1. stupid fanboys complaining about every single shit (I love the sonic ones the most) I already saw people hating the new sonic colors game because they dont like sonics new voice... I dont give a flying fu- what sonic sounds like since he didnt use to talk back then at all so why does it matter? the voice doesnt chnage anything in the damn gameplay geez.

Wow. You're quite the hypocrite yourself there. Also, talk about pitting people into groups! So if some non-religious people screwed up more than most religious people you know, it's hypocritical for any non-religious person to call religious people idiots? Your logic is beyond flawless, mister.
HINT: No. Listen to what the fuck you're saying, for the love of God. Non-religious people aren't a part of some freakin' group, like a political party or anything. We can say whatever the hell we want. There's nothing and no one to truly associate us with here. We're independent individuals. We don't share the same beliefs as every other non-religious person or live our lives the same, if that's what you're thinking. No non-religious person could ever represent all non-religious persons. It's about not believing and not to believe in something certain. You can look at a religious person and associate him with the books he follow, but how can you possibly look at an atheist and just sort of...associate him with what he doesn't follow, and pitting all of those non-followers into a group? Bah. I guess it's also hypocritical for any German to call others bad people, because Hitler was German? But even that would make more sense. At least people would have ground in their own ignorance. It's not fair at all. To be a hypocrite it must be much more personal. YOU have to personally be as bad as these individual non-religious people for it to be HYPOCRITICAL to call religious people idiots -- it's not enough if "your kind" is that way. Don't pit us into a group. And on that note, this reinforces the idea of you being a hypocrite; you hate prejudice and how people are prejudging, yet you evidently could be accused of it yourself. On a much grander scale than clothing to boot.

Have you been forced to listen to him or something? This wish seems to not be based on any firm grounds. I find it sickening when people who aren't 14 or younger hates a kid like this because he's popular. Sure, you may wish that he didn't become famous so that you wouldn't ever have to hear about him -- but to wish the kid would never been born? Not very moral.
Keep in mind that this isn't coming from a fan. I listen mainly to melodic death metal - I'm defending him as a humanbeing.

P.S. I hate myself. I'm an asshole. I want to be a good person, but I doubt I can if a single forum post, probably not even meant to hurt anyone (and from the looks of it, that was just your own defense), upsets me so and makes me hurt them. I'm generally considerate, but I don't think I'm very tolerant. If I see injustice, I call it out the best as I can, venting any anger, as opposed to ignoring it and let everyone (except me) be happy. I guess I'm a bit egotistical. And I hate arguements to boot, yet I always find myself in them. So sorry. Please take my words with a grain of salt; while you should in my opinion consider them, try not to take them TOO personally. I am easily upset, keep that in mind.

It shouldn't be removed from existence. When you get past the rabid fanbase and horrible characters, you have a really solid and challenging and fun Shmup series.
When it comes to Shmups though, Battle Garegga is king.
