Title: Bloodstain: Ritual of the Night
Post by: CDRom11_2007 on May 12, 2015, 12:53:11 AM
Welp, looks like Castlevania joins the "Kickstarter Spiritual Successor" club, and boy am I hyped.

I promise you if you are even slightly a fan of Metroidvania games, then there's a good chance you'll want to keep your eye on this game. Especially since it's from one of the guys who defined the style of Metroidvania. Also, it might not seemed like I'm hyped right now, but that because I've been keeping it in this whole time, so, if you excuse me....

Add me to the hype train. I like that artstyle and I think I'm starting to like metroidvania games.

Reminder that bandwagon-funded Kickstarter games are the reason Kickstarter is rightfully criticized.

Get ready to wait for over two years.

EDIT: On a different note, it is very interesting to see Inti Creates, of all companies, developing not only one, but two Kickstarter-funded games, and both being in a game design style they've already trodden in the Mega Man franchise.

EDIT2: Also, this is so my new avatar (http://puu.sh/hKoTA/321f292545.png).

Quoting it so it's in your face more
Remember Mighty No 9 and then consider whether getting hyped is a good idea

I've only played the GBA Castlevanias but if this looks good I might get it and then play the PSX and DS ones and stuff, but again waiting for it to actually slightly exist before I get hype
