Title: how do I unlock the 3 hidden skins?

how do I unlock the 3 hidden skins without cheats. i passed story mode but so far i did not unlock no wily suit,auto or alien.

In the console type in "reveal skin name" and it'll be unlocked.

No. That's the troubles of hidden skins.
Unless of course there is a way that I'm not aware of.

Nah, it isn't permanent.  Unless you quit the game with the skin on, you'll have to retype that in the console every time you want to use them.

I hesitate to mention this, but you could actually "permanently" have the skins (and bots) revealed by simply creating the file "Autoexec.cfg" in your base MM8BDM directory and typing the following into that file:

reveal Auto
reveal Alien
reveal "Dr. Wily"
reveal WilySkullSuitThat odd one, "reveal "Dr. Wily"", is necessary if you want to reveal the bot with the skin, rather than just the skin.  This is due to the fact the skin isn't simply named "Dr. Wily" or the bot isn't named "WilySkullSuit".

In any case, the Autoexec.cfg will automatically reveal all three skins and bots every time you run the game, that way.  If you rename or delete the file, the next time you run the game, you will lose the ability to choose those skins (unless you already chose one of them and quit the game with that skin on) and bots.

You can just type "skin whatever" on the console to not only reveal but select that skin straight away.

Or better yet, if you do come across the skin files, just place them in the skins folder so you don't have to do anything else. I downloaded a skin set that a friend of mine gave me, and I can select those skins anytime, along with many others.

Yeah, but only people who are using the skin pack can see it.
