As in I want to know,is it possible to just take a photo you have made or something and make it your avatar?I made a sprite in piskelapp.com and saved the picture to myself and thought I can put it as my avatar.

You'll have to upload the image to a site and use the image URL to make it your avatar. In User Control Panel, go to Profile then to Edit Avatar. There you'll put in the URL for the image, and you can specify the dimensions you want.

Imgur is a pretty simple place to put the image you want to use.
