Title: Raze's Casual Skins! (Tango is Here!)

Hello everyone! I am Raze! A new spriter (and skin maker) in the community. I joined about a year ago in an effort to make skins. However, school and motivation prevented these two things which violated what the main purpose of this topic was to begin with. And though I don't know how to change the name of the topic, I do plan to do mostly KOF (King Of Fighters) Skins soon enough. In fact, as of August 17th, i've finally posted the Krizalid Skin after neglecting his work for a solid year!

I plan to post more then just basic KOF Skins, as my first skin I posted and uploaded was Trinitroman. And now, like other people, I take inspiration to make mugshots for each character.

Note: His hair is actually aligned with the color of his armor (blue), I just didn't update the image. Silly me!
Note 2: Reuploaded, his (my?) hurt sound wasn't working for whatever reason.

Note: He has alternate idle sprites due to how I hated the last ones. The Back-Right isn't all that great and neither is the back. But what can you do, am I right?

General Note: All my skins so far haven't been updated to account for the Arrow Buster Charging, sorry ^_^; I also think there isn't really a color that would match Trinitroman's so his showcase isn't here. That, and their backgrounds aren't transparent. I apologize for the messiness, i'll sort it out if I can.

There's more to come! You can request any as I have none to work on right now. And if you do plan to ask about skins, let me know. I generally will answer Fake Roll and the Raccoon Girl to the right, but the rest (including Alpha) in the Private Skin section I might not answer. There might be a day where I post a private skin rendering an update needed, but that's very unlikely.

Enjoy! Take your time and give your overall thoughts on the skins!

wow wow, super cool sprite! must've been real difficult to detail it, but i imagine getting rotations will be harder.

i dunno, do you want it in resources for the time being?

N, it's fine staying here.

Skin looks fantastic! I'm not a sprite buffie or an anatomy wizard or anything like that but from what you've got so far it looks pretty stellar.
Remember that you need both blue and cyan to make the skin work with weapons, though. (and black for charge weapons, but that looks like the right shade so)

Thanks! I can't convert it into a skin (and i'm not done with the entire sheet to speak of), but spriting it is a bit painful. I've wondered if the walking Krizalid sprites would be more worth doing then the running since the running makes a bit more sense, yet much more difficult to do. Anyway, thanks for the opinion!

Of course, there's the "Mysterious Robot" skin that walks and still runs the same speed, but you know what I mean.

Well, this is an issue.
I was actually halfway done with this project when I got lazy, a few months after that (3 weeks ago right now), my laptop just gave up on me.

I got a new laptop now, but I have to start over. So I might go with the easy option and leave Krizalid out of the question for right now as he was a headache, and I lost all that progress I don't want to do again.

And thus, there is something new I plan to give off to the community. An extra skin. I finally have time to do stuff now!
See above in the spoiler regarding the first post. I plan to convert stuff into a skin if i'm not lazy. I want to learn stuff and I will on the other page.

So now that I finally figured out how to make some skins, I will try to not be lazy anymore and put stuff off! I have made Trinitroman of Megaman Unlimited!

Raze (My character) has been uploaded! A huge update has been made, take your time looking at it, it's kinda messy right now as it is. I'll sort it out later.

EDIT: I'm reuploading Raze. His pain sound effect wasn't working.

NO! ....Yes. Which do you believe deserves to be a skin more? Terry Bogard's attack animations could be him doing the Power Wave. (And Having a Megaman look like Ryu does on top of that) Geese might get a unique done up from scratch look (or cheat a bit by using Krizalid's face and altering it somewhat), and well... really, the only skin I could do is Rugal's without requests. But I can take up a request to fill my library.

Yuri Sakazaki already made Rugal and... Yuri Sakazaki. :p

I could make my own version of Rugal though, and her Yuri Sakazaki is well made, not gonna protest that. If making Rugal is gonna be an issue, I wouldn't mind making a God Rugal now, would I? I mean, he's Street Fighter, but also King of Fighters.  :cool:

Thanks! I'm an amateur at it right now, and there is one thing I wanna do when the requests and my friend's alternate costumes are done. It'll be a back and fourth thing depending on if I have time. School is coming in about a week or 2, so I don't have much time to work with. But at my pace, I can do stuff pretty quickly with freetime given.

That, and I thought "Hey, if I have skins I won't give out to the public through my skins list under normal circumstances, why not add a Private Skins list?" This made it somewhat unique in that regard, but it's been done by someone else before me. (That someone else being FTX).

Planting Claymore! Um, I mean... Claymore Man is in the works!

Claymore is another word for Sword, so it's another Swordman. Just a smaller guy. And it looks a bit similar to the buster sword, I know. Deal with it.

Note: The Gray/White color may change in the final, I made it up randomly. Also, he'll be getting two idles.

Terry Bogard is in the works too, but he's just getting lifted off the ground. Here's a picture of progress for both of 'em.

I wasn't so sure which sprite to use for his front frame when he has the sword out in front of him, so i'll need some help with that. The running I already have planned out.

Which one should I develop on more until it's finished?

But I never made progress on it... Only that one sprite :c

EDIT: Of course, I say that when I just give the full rotation and 2/5ths of his running sprites complete today... Hm.

Oooohhh what's in here? - Blue Core...? I forget which one.

Anyway, I believe there is a blue, green, and ink colored Robot Cat in the house...
