...Is there a way to set the master selection to be random?

It's usually just one person the entire time until they leave... (unless that's a bug)

I don't know, I find it funny.

So I had this idea for player Hales awhile back, and I was told that this is the place to go If I had ideas.

Player hales is a simple concept: A player well-known to the MM8BDM community (such as Cutman Mike, Otaku Alex, Omega Zero, Eazy, etc.) would be given a hale.

Because I haven't been playing MM8BDM as much as I should, I don't know very many people...eh heh...

So if there's anyone that I forget to mention that should be in this, please inform me.

Not much else to say, really...

...Let's get on with the Hales list, shall we?

(similar to Otaku, I suck at spriting. That being said, many of these hales can just be recolored Megaman Robot Masters.)

(click to show/hide)

I'll add more when I think of more.

I would think that the punch sound effect is when the skin takes damage.

I know nothing about coding, though, so don't take that into high consideration.

A couple days ago, I won on a hotel server by accumulating 256 frags over the course of three days. That's right, I beat Blue Bomber Bed and Breakfast.

Obviously I am the pro-est pro player out there, as the comments afterward suggested.

sometimes it seems that I'm the only person who used to RP on that server...*sigh*

Help & Editing / Re: Setting up a server from Doomseeker?
« on: October 02, 2013, 05:08:20 PM »
I found A tutorial on how to host a server from the launcher with custom WADs (I used the special classes WAD), but I am then prompted with this error:

Script error, "mm8bdm-special-classesv3.2-sh.pk3:codes/neutral.txt"
line 3:
Unexpected 'Neutral' in definition of 'NeutralClass'

Help & Editing / Setting up a server from Doomseeker?
« on: October 02, 2013, 12:38:49 AM »
So I wanted to create a server.

I opened up Doomseeker
went to File > Create Server
selected Zandronum as the engine
added my WADs
selected my iWAD as MM8BDM.exe (pretty sure I did this wrong)
and clicked Start Server.

I was prompted to point Zandronum to my Doom directory, but....I don't know where that is...It's apparently looking for a doom.wad or doom2.wad and i'm not sure what the case would be for MM8BDM.

Any idea on what I'm supposed to do?

You mentioned that the PNGs could be any size, right?

If a PNG set is, say 16-bit (rather than Megaman's 8-bit), would it be twice as large as the regular megaman ingame?
