Anything Goes / I'm back!

not sure anyone will remember me, though.

i got a new computer and remembered MM8BDM exists, so i installed it and played around a little in single player.

i'm not especially interested in anything but the core game right now, though, so i'm wondering if someone could set up a vanilla server for a while. i'm looking forward to playing with you guys again!

I don't believe this particular frag message is displayed for any other weapon, but I may be wrong. It sounds like something Flash Stopper would do, but that just 'fries your visuals'.

Step 1: Get to the end of Chapter 1. I don't care how you do it, be it normally or in a fashion that excessively quickbeams. We just need you in the first Unknown stage.
Step 2: Summon a Metdaddy.
Step 3: Quickbeam it.

Chapter 5 Unlocked!




... Yeah, I laughed pretty hard when this happened.

So, I was playing around with some cheats in Napalm Man's stage until I came across this:

This is all that's here. Just a small enclosure with some plant.

Looks like a prime place for a Yashichi, but I already knew where the one in this stage was. And I don't think I've seen that plant in there anywhere else.

Help & Editing / I can't play story mode!

So, I beat the first chapter legitimately, which surprised me. Then, when I try to go to the next chapter, the arrow keys don't work for selection. I only managed to get to Chapter 2 by pressing 'right' about 50 more times than I felt I needed to. And, right after I beat Enker, Skulltag crashed.

Is this a bug, or am I just doinitrong?

Help & Editing / Issue with server hosting?

Hey guys,

Some of you might remember me from playing, even though I'm probably the most forgettable MM8BDM player ever.

I thought it might be a good idea to set up a server. I followed the kindly provided tutorials by CutmanMike and made sure my port forwarding was done to the best of my ability.

However, while I see my server, I only see it in the 'Local' list.

I'm sure it was just something dumb I've done in the setup, but I'm wondering if there's a simple remedy for this.
