Someone mentioned the possibility of putting extra little items there. I'd assume stuff like small health and ammunition stuff. That way there is a reward if you bother using the stairs portion.

I personally really like the idea of stairs on the sides next to the wall and slopes in the middle.

it's been really hard to organize, and I guess getting 4 people together at one time is really hard. It was cool on paper, but I guess it just isn't working out. =<

I don't get what you mean when you say you don't want to turn them off, yet you want them gone. They're both the exact same thing. Either way, you don't hear them, just another way anyone who wants to spam that on their own can. It's not you're being forced to hear them. I honestly can't find a single thing wrong with them at all.

Exactly my point. 10 players don't work Sheena. After the first round you have 5 people.
Five! How are you suppose to work that out? Give someone a bye? That isn't exactly fair. If you want few people, make a tournament of 8 or 16 so it is fair. 10 does not work.

Well i thought about it, but looking at how you're organizing this it seems to be just as difficult as the 2 on 2 tournament is going. I understand people just saying "I'm not doing this" isn't good, but you need to at least stay open to others ideas. I'm guessing from your last post Sheena you aren't doing 10 players any more?

That still doesn't work... Okay, so you start with 10 people. Half that, and you get 5 people. You have a 1 v 1 v 1 but... 5 is not divisable by 3. 10 is a ridiculous number. A "Classic Duel Tournament" shouldn't have random matches like that. If you don't want a lot of people, go 8 or like 16.

I'm sorry, but this seems more disorganized than how to 2 v 2 tournament is going...

Hard Man's health seems fine to me. Maybe a little less? But it doesn't seem that bad. I just think his bunny hop is ridiculous, combined with a hard hitting projectile.

Greatest rival: I don't think I have real rivals, but I like to play against rTist, Saviorsword, and Nu. Mostly friends rather than rivals though. ^_^

Anything else?: I started to hate duels but I got over myself and I'm gonna play again.
I like to stay friendly, as I hope to not have many people dislike me. T's Invention just hates me and I think Tornado dislikes me now too. =<

I don't think anyone is caught off guard by bunny hopping Hard Man. Because one he has you, it's really hard to escape once you get caught by just one of them. Sure you can jump, but it doesn't help much when the Hard Knuckle deals so much damage already. if anything catches you off guard, it's Hard Knuckle, not the bunny hop.

And most Hard Men I see stick to enclosed areas where it's either impossibly hard to dodge a Hard Knuckle or no room so get un stuck from the bunny hops.

Darn crashes. XD Oh well. The round as a whole I thought was pretty fun. Except the crashing part. =P

That's because Crash Bombs had a pretty good stun on his weapon.

Oh, and Wily is faster than a lot of robot masters. That also kind of adds in on the whole "hard to keep up offensively" strategy.

It's hard to keep up an offensive when your opponent can fly.
