I really don't care; I have no control over how my internet is right now and your entire team was impatient as fuck. We weren't on any priority queue until around 5 days ago which then, yes, the match needed to get done (and it was in a timely manner as agreed upon). It was an amusing experience either way, good job to you folks.
It's college internet. I'm denied from BE spontaneously and I have a class schedule to work around. Get the fuck over yourselves
This will be my first and final public say in the matter.
I'd advise you to stop while you're ahead, Rozark. My team was not "impatient as fuck", we were fed up with deceptive behavior, questionable internet issues, and general rudeness. Our whole team was happy to make time-based accommodations for all of you guys, regardless of previous encounters, because we get it, everyone has irl obligations. However, after multiple instances of "just too convenient" excuses with passive-aggressive undertones, we were ALL liable to being a little sour. I would've been fine waiting 2 months to play the match if it meant working with someone who knew how to act humble, or understood how to cooperate with others to accomplish a task.
Setting aside the legitimacy of your internet problems, you simply handled every interaction poorly. Rather than calmly and rationally explaining your situation, everyone in the chat was subject to your fiery tongue and plethora of excuses. Here's some life advice, Rozark: if you want someone to have an easier time seeing your point of view or situation, you act courteous and mature, even if they aren't.
Let me be very clear when I say that Maxine, Blie, and OJ are not rude people with ulterior motives. When they pursued the idea of your situation not being legitimate, and accused you of being a "john", it was because YOU were rude in the first place, and failed to present yourself in an appropriate fashion. OJ, the tournament host, and person least likely to think of something like it was actually the first person to come to the conclusion that you were using a lag switch, not me. There were also an innumerable amount of times where you had to be told by your own team that you should just calm down and check your damn internet so we could get this DONE. Honestly, I'm not just upset with how I was affected in this situation, I'm upset with the fact that you were openly rude, dismissive, immature, and completely insensitive to a whole group of people, 2 of which were supposed to be your friends.
So no, I will not "get over myself", mainly because every step of the way, every single person involved was thinking to themself "Hmmm, how is Rozark going to cancel the match today, and what kind of sketchy excuse will he use?", because goddammit, that's how it happened every time.
As an aside, I'd absolutely LOVE to know what the "single thing that got fixed" was that miraculously allowed you to play the match one day before your suspension, and I'd happily bet every dollar I own that you won't have a coherent response to me when I point out every single one of the gaping holes in that same "thing that got fixed".
