So I finished Taz: Wanted on Friday (PC edition) and I had a crazy idea where Elena is the star of her own game. I made Taz into Elena and then everything just snowballed into this mess. It’s like a combination of an outline for a game and a story.
I’m pretty sure that this can’t be canon in any way, but it sure is nice to make something up.
Plot
Alphonse and Elena are just taking a nice walk when the CCC comes to power and orders the arrest of the two of them; stuff happens and Alphonse is taken away while Elena is stuck somewhere and Elena goes to rescue Alphonse by getting through people, whether they’re CCC or not.
{note: CCC = Contemporary Cutopian Council}
Characters
Elena Ampere [protagonist]
Alphonse “Royal Flush” McGraw [the guy who gets kidnapped]
TGOT/Kryss Caden [the guy who helps Elena because he's relevant and he doesn't show any real malice against the Fusion Five]
The Administrator/Head of the CCC (whoever it is) [antagonist]
…Anyone else who comes along in the story!
Analogues
Wanted Posters: Same thing as Taz but with Elena's ugly mug[_/s] face instead
Sandwiches: i dunno, screws maybe
Phone Booths: TGOT Inc./Fusion Labs (whoever made the BME) repository for BMEs
(for those not in the know, BME here means Biological Mimicry Equipment; it basically allows the user to take on the appearance of another person)
{After Elena kills someone while using a BME-disguise, it short-circuits and she turns back into Elena.}
Taz Catchers: Hatchet-Wielding Cutopian Police (with rubber handcuffs)
Whack-in-a-boxes: The same? Not sure how to make this fit.
Golden Sam Statue: Toidtanium The Administrator Statue (whoever holds power in the CCC)
Gramophones: The same thing? I don't know, music can hypnotize people.
Enemies: Random CCC lackeys and/or people that hate Elena
Powerups:
-Invisibility Potion: Invisibility Cloak [the wearer is invisible for a short period of time]
-Super Burp Soda Can: Scrap of Gold (Radius Flash (Whip Powerup)) [crack of the whip will generate a shocksplosion in a radius]
-Hiccup Soda: Thunder Heels [They allow the user to jump higher than ever before]
-Mega Hot Chili Peppers: Scrap of Copper (Lightning Crack (Whip Powerup)) [crack of the whip will send lightning bolts in a direction]
-Bubble Gum: Cloud Nine Hover Boots [They allow the user to hover in the air]
-Dynamite: Scrap of Rubber [actually a powerdown; disables any powerups if in use]
{Justification for using whip powerups: The CCC, when capturing Elena, messed with the whip, making it part titanium, and now it’s not as versatile as it once was.}
{{All powerups are temporary; Invis. Cloak runs out after a while, Gold degrades after one usage, the TH break down after 7 jumps, Copper degrades with continual usage/over time, the CNHB run out of power after a while. Rubber just takes away powerups.}}
Abilities:
Rant/Special Ability: Thunderous Snap (A deafening crack of the whip)/Special Ability (based upon powerup/costume)
Bite: Whip (Whip is used for its intended purpose)
Spin: Rolling Storm (Spinning with the whip)
Levels
Hub 1: Agorix City, Cutopia
[Background: Elena and Alphonse are in a prison in the beginning, and they break out eventually. Alphonse is recaptured and taken somewhere else; Elena has to fight her way through a city under lockdown.]
H1L1: Fusion Laboratories
[Background: Taken over by the CCC; and now a war factory; the absence of Mr. Felderson makes it impossible to replicate Fusion Armor, thankfully. She’s here to liberate Fusion Labs from its new oppressors because she’s the only person who’s allowed to take over Fusion Labs.
Disguise: Annette Navya (“As if I didn’t get enough of her each day.”): Everyone’s favorite pointy-eared girl from the (mildly) popular blog Ask the Fusion Five makes her first appearance in something that’s not a blog. Being the embodiment of the Internet, Annette uses Spontaneous Generation to summon anything that she can think of to drop on her enemies’ heads. These objects can range from anvils to safes to even a great flurry of cats.]
H1L2: TGOT Incorporated
[Background: Taken over by the CCC; now repurposed for manufacturing products that can turn against consumers if they become rowdy and rebellious. Elena would rather terrorize the citizens of Agorix City by herself, so she goes in to shut down the building.
Disguise: TGOT (“How ironic. I’ve changed into the changeling.”): Nobody really knows where TGOT ran off to, and the CCC doesn’t mind him coming in to check on his prized Avocado Grenades. Elena has TGOT’s trusty Spud Launcher, although it’s less powerful because of the technical limitations of the BME. It shoots potatoes at high-velocities. It's a lot more effective than you'd think.]
H1L3: Solar-Powered Beverages Corporation
[Background: Taken over by the CCC; continues making flavored beverages and the same weapons as it did before the takeover, oddly enough. Elena has stopped caring about liberating the Cutopians, and now she just wants an excuse to thrash some corrupt corporate Cutopians.
Disguise: Orange Juice (“What kind of person rides an exploding bear?!”): The partnership between OJ and Solar Equinox has been going strong for a while; they had once set their goals on overthrowing the government, but the CCC quickly shut down their plans and now they’re ‘perfectly content’ with fully supporting their glorious leaders. As OJ, Elena wields a specially-modified Chainsaw that can be thrown; it boomerangs back to him. If that’s not enough to kill someone, then the Bear that OJ rides will be more than enough to finish the job with its extra-sharp claws.]
H1BOSS: Partially unimportant member of the CCC
[A devoted lackey to the Administrator, he holds the keys to the city. Without them, nobody can get in or out of the city. Unless you’re part of the CCC.]
Hub 2: Town Square, Toidtopia
[Background: Elena uses the keys to escape from Cutopia and runs off after Alphonse; she is led to Toidtopia's Town Square, where the CCC decides to expand their jurisdiction since Toidtopia itself was a former colony of Cutopia. Cutopian military force swiftly takes hold of all of Toidtopia, and once again Elena has to battle corrupt Cutopians]
H2L1: The Toidtopian Mines
[Background: The original three founders of Toidtopia had set up mines that ran throughout the entire nation; its modern incarnation is mostly safe for anyone who wants to strike gold or even diamond. Already experienced with the art of mining, Elena goes here to gather enough resources to construct a means of taking on the CCC directly. She also wants to rebuild the Ampere fortune.
Disguise: Bleegott (“Who the hell is this big lug?!”): One of the Toidtopian miners, Bleegott is a pretty big guy who probably glued his own helmet to his head. Why? Only Bleegott knows, and he would want nothing more than to follow in TGOT’s footsteps. He heartily promotes Toidism, not as a religion, but as a way of life. When Elena mimics Bleegott, she gains the T of Mercy, a ‘holy relic’ of Toidism. Truthfully, it’s just a giant piece of T-shaped gold that Bleegott uses to bludgeon those who go against the Toidistic Faith.]
H2L2: The Thunder Fleet
[Background: Thunder Electros was once working on his own fleet of zeppelins while staying in Toidtopia’s Town Square. They were intended to be his living quarters, but Thunder decided to go on vacation to the local beach, leaving his unfinished airships behind. Elena decides to step in so she can take some building supplies with her. She might even take one of the airships for a spin.
Disguise: Thunder Electros (“Mr. Electros can’t hold a candle to my electric personality!”) Thunder was running away from the Cutopian police back in 20XX, since his work involved massive amounts of murder. However, when the CCC came to power in 20XX, he was absolved of all crimes and he was allowed to stay in Toidtopia for as long as he liked. Thunder wields the Swords of Storms, and their combined might allows him to generate an Electric Tornado that rips through anything in its path.]
H2L3: Hell's Fortress
[Background: The CCC has commandeered the portal to Hell, using it as a quick method of travel between Cutopia and Toidtopia. The CCC managed to lose part of their forces on the perilous journey Elena decides to step in to see what’s been going on since the last time she died. She also wants to enlist the legions of the damned to fight against the CCC and be her new slaves.
Disguise: Boy Scout Dan Jenkins (“Oh great, I get to be this asshole for a day.”): Dan Jenkins was a formidable Boy Scout and the only one to best Elena in combat. However, his victory was short-lived; his soul-capturing system was destroyed in the battle and the Game & Watchers dragged him back down to hell for not reaching his soul quota. Elena’s most hated enemy carried around, among other things, a hatchet, the very tool used to decapitate her. It’s very aerodynamic.]
H2BOSS: The CCC's prized war machine, operated by some (un)important CCC person
[It was patrolling all areas of Town Square so Elena couldn't get out; Elena makes her fiery slaves build up something that can rival the CCC’s machinery.]
Hub 3: The Cliffside Hotel (Toidtopian Territory)
[Background: Elena gets the heck out of Town Square and she loses herself in the vast Toidtopian Territory. She finds a dilapidated building in the side of a canyon and decides to rest there for a while. Unfortunately, the CCC makes its way to the cliffside hotel, and they’ve dragged Alphonse along in an attempt to coerce her into going back to captivity. They just won’t stop taunting her.]
H3L1: Thaumaturkey
[Background: TGOT, when he was still an apprentice to the greatest thaumaturge of our time, decided to make his own dimension to practice thaumaturgy. With a complete disregard for the logic of the universe, he wrote enchanted inscriptions in a book and warped to his new world. Elena happened to find the same book in the library in the building, and now she’s at the door of a complex system of tunnels. Perhaps she might stumble upon TGOT’s aged Thaumonomicon, the journal that contains all of his discoveries and theories.
Disguise: Lego (“Why does this guy seem so familiar…?”): Lego was also learning the ways of the Thaumaturge along with TGOT. However, the great incident that forced everyone out of the Hotel also managed to send Lego far away. It is not known where he resides at the moment. He brandished the Wand of the Adept, specializing in the arcane art of Golemancy, where he could make stone golems rise from the earth to thrash any foes in his way.]
H3L2: Q-Man’s Quagmire
[Background: While TGOT and Q-Man were surveying Toidtopian Territory, Q-Man wanted his very own landmark; TGOT reluctantly agreed and gave Q-Man his own plot of land in the middle of a quagmire. Q-Man has made some minor modifications to the land so that it would suit his needs.
Disguise: Q-Man (“The cutest robot ever made? I doubt it.”): Q-Man was TGOT’s main construct, a robot formed out of spare parts from certain Robot Masters. He would never reach TGOT’s level of relevancy, but he really tried to. His main instrument of destruction is the SaQgarne, a flamethrower that acts like a jetpack. Its blue flames can melt anything in its path.]
H3L3: The Twilight Forest
[Background: The back door of the Cliffside Hotel leads into an eternal field of incredibly tall trees, where light almost never reaches through the canopy and the time of day is a perpetual twilight. With a little luck, Elena might just discover the spark that could help her take out The Administrator and end his reign of terror.
Disguise: Gumballtoid (“Toid? More like turd.”): ‘The Great Gumballtoid’ calls every forest his home, and he preys upon any passersby that he sees. Fortunately he is nowhere to be seen in the place where there is no light. Gumball’s archery prowess is one of the reasons why he is one of the best thieves around. His specialized bow, the Bow of Toid, is indestructible and the arrows it shoots are always straight shots.]
H3BOSS: The Administrator
[A Grade-A asshole, he’s been twisting the once-great Cutopian government to meet his own needs. When he falls, who will take hold of the new government?]
Hub 4/Final Level: The Caleb Felderson Memorial Bridge (Nova Toidtopia)
[Background: Right as Elena made the killing blow against the Administrator, he pushed a button that blew the Cliffside Hotel sky-high. Elena was concussed and landed in a foreign location. When she woke up, she saw a sign by a bridge that announced where Alphonse’s next show was about to begin. If he was free at last, then they might be together once more. The only problem with that? Cutopian police were stationed at every checkpoint of the bridge.
Disguise: Caleb Felderson (“Well, now he’s not dead.”): When word had gotten out that Caleb Felderson was killed in a lab ‘accident,’ the crowds had wondered how Fusion Labs could keep going after its owner’s demise. The commotion eventually died down and now the Fusion Five - 1 have (unofficially) inducted Annette into their group. The revival of Mr. Felderson includes a set of Fusion Armor, granting Elena the ability to use the Afterburner to shred through her foes.]
H4BOSS: The Administrator
[Right before Elena makes it to Nova Toidtopia, The Administrator parachutes down and mocks her for thinking that he was really dead. The Administrator that was at the now-demolished building was merely a body double. He mentions that the entire bridge is rigged to explode unless Elena quietly went back to Agorix City. Their final duel starts now.]
[Then Elena beats the shit out of the Administrator and tortures him to no end, leaving him a broken and mildly charred mass of flesh and bone. She continues onward to Nova Toidtopia in search of Al.]
[Once Elena finds Al’s location, they embrace each other…
Elena starts feeling drowsy and then she slumps to the ground; the last thing she sees before succumbing to unconsciousness is a green flash…]
Elena woke up in the middle of a sea of white. It was almost pitch black, and the only thing she could hear was the faint and familiar sound of a windmill. She walked towards the sound and discovered the windmill itself and a house carved out of the side of a hill. The only light in the area were the lights in the house and the lights on the windmill’s blades.
A voice rung out from the top of the windmill.
“Hello, Elena.”
Elena stood up and saw herself at the top.
“You…”
“Me…”
Elena took out her whip and cracked it upwards. “What have you done with Al? …Not that I like him, or anything.”
The other Elena grinned. “Oh, I’m fairly certain you do. In fact, you probably want to know where he ran off to. I’ll show you where he is.”
The electric being at the top of the windmill climbed down and went inside the house.
A gunshot resonated throughout the barren field.
Alphonse proudly kicked down the door, the fresh scent of gunpowder in the air. “Well, if it ain’t my favorite girl! How’ve you be-”
Elena tackled him mid-sentence and they ended up on the ground in a loving embrace. “Just fine.” She recoiled in shock, realizing how easily her own emotions could consume her.
“I just had to take care of a pesky critter. No big deal. Now, how’s about a nice dinner back at the establishment? It’s on me. Unfortunately, I kinda don’t know where in the world we are.”
“As long as we’re together, I don’t care if we’re in that hellhole you call Toidtopia.”
“Toidtopia, eh?” Al paused for a brief moment. “That brings back memories. My first show there was a disaster, but then again Toidtopia itself is full o’ loonies.”
“When I went there for the first time, I made my own fortress out of stone. It was backbreaking work, and my slaves died in an… accident, so I was alone. And guess what happened after I was done?”
“I’m not sure.”
“He filled my place with nothing but gravel and mushrooms. MUSHROOMS. The nerve!”
The performer laughed at how much emphasis Elena put on ‘mushrooms.’ “Sounds like something I would’ve done back then.” Al kept on laughing, much to the annoyance of Elena.
“Al, are you ever going to stop laughing? I’m being serious here!”
His laughter became more malicious and his voice seemed to change slightly.
“Al, snap out of it!” Elena tried shaking Alphonse, but to no avail.
Green flames started emerging from the ground, dancing around the pair and centering on Alphonse. He kept laughing even as the fire engulfed him.
“Al, no!” Elena tried pulling Alphonse out of the fire until a bright flash knocked her away. When she got up, she looked on in horror.
The green-robed figure ceased his laughter right after his transformation was complete. “Oh, that was rich! You actually believed that Alphonse killed me? The great and powerful TGOT?!” He dashed on over to Elena and stared right into her very soul. “I’m not dead.”
Elena stood up and got her whip ready. “Where’s Al, you damned creature!?”
“I thought you had bought paint or something colorful, Elena. Really, where have your insults gone?”
“Where. Is. Al.” Elena’s words were punctuated by cracks.
TGOT did not flinch at all. “Oh, he’s over there in the house. I haven’t killed him. That would just be bad form.” The changeling gracefully backflipped into his QJOLNIR Armor and said one thing:
“Now the question is, are you a bad enough dude to rescue your precious Alphonse?”
FINAL BOSS: TGOT (in QJOLNIR Armor)
[TGOT was Alphonse this entire time?! Preposterous! TGOT was never affiliated with the CCC; he could stand to see the end of its regime. However, he does like causing general mischief. As long as he reaches his personal annoyance quota for the day, he’s happy.
Elena won’t be deceived by a mere changeling ever again.]
Ending
Elena defeats TGOT and short-circuits his armor; it blows up its rockets and he gets sent sky-high. Elena enters the house and finds the real Alphonse, tied up in a chair. They turn on the news and see that Cutopia is in turmoil since the CCC started crumbling and people have taken to the streets in a rebellion. Elena decides to just turn off the TV and the duo decide to stay in the Fortress of Solitoid until things clear up.
the end
ok I totally bullshitted the last part but I got bored
I’m pretty sure I have a wooden writing style but I’m good at making up stuff
