Well, OM is the one who hosts for me, Blaze, and anyone else that's alive in our Minecrap chat.
We're starting out with creative so we can build stuff in order to make our forthcoming survival experience less monotonous.
When we do survival, we do hard mode just because mobs can pick up armor and fire burns down stuff so quickly.
And keep in mind that we're using snapshot 12w36a.

Anyway, here's some more screenshots of our glorious place. This time it focuses on the area beyond our house.

Blaze made this 'Hell Pagoda.' I can't make redstone gates in this and still make it look half as nice as this, so I left it alone. We're still putting a prerequisite of at least 10 obsidian and 1 flint & steel on us.

This thing probably shouldn't exist, but we don't care. We'll probably only use it after beating up a few Withers.

And that'll probably be it for the construction of our Survival Paradise.
Our misadventures with Hard-mode Survival in Snapshot 12w36a will begin hopefully tomorrow.
At the very least, our supplies will consist of:

Stone-tier tools
-Dyed Leather Armor
-A stack of the food of our choice [minus golden apples][/list]

I may make an update some time tomorrow on how terribly we fail at hard mode.

Why are there disembodied heads in your room?

Why wouldn't I have disembodied heads in my room? They look cool and they can scare people off. Good for halloween.

What you froobs need to go do is screw around with the new snapshot, 12w36a.
Sure, nobody makes mods for the snapshots, but most people are satisfied with vanilla minecraft, and most of what we [Blaze, OM, and I] do is derp around on mostly-vanilla minecrap servers [the kind that CMM and OM host]. We just have a lot of silly shenanigans and sometimes we build, but it's all good in the end.
All we spent our time doing last night was building our totally not OP house so we could do some survival shenanigans later.

[also, before you ask, yes I updated the MegaEnhancedPlus texture pack for the snapshot. Did you honestly think I could tolerate the various recolors in the vanilla minecrap textures?]

If you think one lava pit burning down a jungle is bad, wait until you see what happened to the jungle in a recent 1.4 snapshot that Blaze accidentally set fire to on hard mode. [When OrangeMario gets the chance to put his server back up, I'll probably get screenshots of the jungle as it is now.]

Vanilla Survival is quite fun when you're playing with a group of friends in a Skype call. We usually plot our plan of attack and then enact it over several days.
This one time on Cutstuff, we got really lucky and stumbled upon several mushrooms and through mining for diamonds, our grand total came up to over 100 diamonds. I am not a very creative guy, so I don't really tend to do much in Creative mode.

And since everyone is hopping on the creation bandwagons, I suppose I could release this texture pack that I've been tossing back and forth between Blaze, OM, Travis, and everyone else in our chat.
I call it...
MegaEnhancedPlus. [Original the name, don't steal]

This is not my own work, not at all [except for a few sprite edits and minor recolors of pre-existing things in the packs].
I combined three texture packs and my own crap handiwork into this thing. To quote my pack.txt inside the texture pack,

[9:31:54 PM] A big teddy bear: stuff replaces the death sound, the class selection bg noise and individual class noise, class selection noise itself, the beginning and end of all kinds of waves [first, middle, last, waves with tanks], wave failure, and yeah
[9:36:23 PM] A big teddy bear: wave failure is L4D1 failure music
the class selection noise is the guitar thing that plays when you spawn as infected
beginning of first and middle waves is short ditty that plays during beginning of campaigns
tank waves have part of L4D1 rescue vehicle theme
death sound is L4D2 death noise [minus the 40+ extra seconds of sadness]
last wave is something I found that sounds final
wave ends are L4D1 and L4D2 safe room themes
final wave ending is the end theme of L4D1 campaigns

But yeah, other than my planned demise for Ken, I have EVE hud and it's just OP
I can actually see people's health instead of having to gauge how much health they have by looking at how full the bubble-meter is.
Plus, the style is pretty nifty.

I have several of them, probably one for almost every weapon that would be easily accessible by someone without hats.
Some are either simple retextures and others are full model overhauls.
I also have reskins for the classes, but that's really it.

Also I'm waiting for the moment where someone gives me at least 2 buds for my unusual.

So the day cold foosion made a surprise arrival on the server I got for us on saturday
I decided to join some other server he was on
and out of nowhere this random guy gets a salvaged crate
I wanted to get that drop from him but he didn't even know what I was talking about
so I explained stuff to him and he was happy to give it to me for a sandvich or something for the heavy [he doesn't know its value]
then it was revealed that he was F2P so he couldn't give it to me

wah

But then he said that he was gonna get premium later and then he had to go for something
so now I have to play the waiting game [this happened yesterday at around 4 PM EST]
It's been a day and he hasn't done anything since
