After an epic series (wished somebody could of recorded) unfaded lost again and this time to the GOL/GFR. The best of 3 series ended in a score of 2 - 1.

Put yar informatioin down like the rest of the teachers. That way students have a better idea of what thier teacher would be.

No, but it sure would have been cool.
BTW, I can now confirm the reason behind UNFADED's name. According to Saviorsword, it IS because it sounds cool. He was going to list a second reason, but I never really saw it. Or maybe, he never actually wrote it. Either way, I'm now content with this topic.

A little history lesson (which nobody probably knew) of where the name came from. At first, it was more or less out of the blue when VXLoneWolfXV decided to create a guild/clan deal. Originally he wanted to call us the Mavericks, and durin' that time the first 4 members/leaders all had to agree on a name. I was the only one opposed to "Mavericks" since I feel it's just an overused word. We (Muzaru, LoneWolf, Stiki, and me) then brainstormed some other ideas. Some of the rejected names include: Kingdom, Freedom, Free, Pure, Timeless. Timeless was suggested by me, but only rejected by Stiki (used to be MM8). He did like the concept of "Timeless" however, and we eventually reworked the word to Unfaded.

Some trivia facts:
When we were comin' up with the name. we all went to an empty server at Dive Man's stage. Wolf had to go afk and the map switched to Gyro Man because of the time limit from the server. Later, it went to Blizzard Man when the 3 of us presented Unfaded to LoneWolf after he came back from his business.

This was, in my opinion, a VERY forgettable match. There was a lot of lag, and it was hard to find good weapons. This will be the last competition I will be in, since I'm not finding these fun anymore.

First of all, who chose the maps? Maps play a BIG role in a teams ability to win. I could say somethin' about the lag, but ping's relatively close so that it shouldn't impact play dramatically.

Oh wow, lol. Anyway, the player that deserves the MIP (Most Improved Player) award goes to Megaquint, imo. I had completely underestimated him when I helped him enter the tournament. In fact, I even consider him better than me now. Helps our chances to win it all, that's for sure.

EDIT: We should call this Semi-Pro MM8BDM TDM. Maybe have an announcer/commentator or something. lol

After Round 2 is over, then it is safe to claim who improved the most and such.

It would be an awesome touch to the tournament if we had "official" announcer/commentator as well. It'll feel a bit more "professional" lol.

Tell them to visit the forums. They do give out a lot of good information and the wiki (though outdated and empty a bit) helps too. Still nothin' can replace practice.

MY personal advice is to find somebody a lot better than ya and get beaten up to a pulp. It helps cause, ya learn how they keep beaten, and therefore ya get better.
