What all I am saying is that this ol' game will always have a spot close to my heart. I have spent way too much time on this community to just forget everything I've done while I was around here.
I could play again, but it just won't be the same as it was in the past. Not just the folks who have left/stayed makes the community, but the "environment"/ feel is just not the same anymore.
It's like if ya loved to play with a favorite toy at tree house as a kid and many years later ya come back with the same toy in hand sitting in the same tree house. Ya can try as hard as ya like to recreate the moment, but ya can't.

In shorter words, I am just running through nostalgia like an ol' fool.

I don't know why I'm still drawn into this forum, even though I have long since given up on this game.
Could very well be nostalgia or somethin' along those lines.

All the not-so-smart comments and creations, organized fun past events, scandals, people shifts, and even my own duel weapon tier list is just so many memories behind it all.

Yeah... now that I think about it, it's probably an unhealthy dose of nostalgia I'm sufferin' from. I'll go see a doctor about nostalgia poisonin'.

I got the Special Edition of Fates (lucky me).

Though the game has gotten a bit "easier" for any difficultly in the sense that ya have endless castles to visit for free resources.
Lunatic was handle'd better in Fates. I'm still a bit indifferent on the unbreakable weapon system. I can understand skills gettin' nerf'd big time across the board, though I'll miss the good ol' days when they were quite broken throughout pretty much every game.

Prefect Dark (N64) got me into FPS to begin with, so that game alone deserves an honorable mention.

Currently only 2 games. Counter-Strike Global Offensive and Team Fortress 2.
TF2 has plenty of problems that keeps me from playin' it for long periods of time, but it's fun every now and then.
CSGO has a good amount of history and refinement that any player would appreciate in a smooth and test'd game throughout time.

Well, in my eyes, you're not gonna make me want to play 8BDM if it's not entertaining. That's not really as great as you think it is, and if the expansion keeps going in that direction, it'll just be wasted time and effort.

I suppose KD meant that the dev team's job is to build the amusement parks for us to play in, not dress up like clowns and honk their red noses for us.

Onto Blaze, all I can say to ya is "Get well soon, friend!". I also know the pain of throwin' yar life away into a small fan-game that's only half-a-subatomic-particle to the grand scheme of the internet/life. I myself made the same silly mistake, but not to yar extreme though...
So just keep lookin' onwards in life. There's definitely plenty of other beautiful thin's out there in life. Just remember all the good times ya've had with us, yes?

I'm also Ivory, ex-Lead Dev and one of the few members of the old old guard of Cutstuff, predating MM8BDM. So it's not like I'm a nobody no one knows about. Yet, despite all of this, I never made a scene about no one bothering to wish me a happy birthday in a thread. End of the day, does it really matter? Not really. If the people who truly matter to you remember your birthday, that's way more important.

Never forget about envy. Not all folks have it, but there are folks that are sure to have it in their system. Of course ya could keep it to yarself and not full victim to envy, but again some folks have it deep in their system. Last but not least, when it becomes vocal then it creates a commotion like this right now.
