* Finishes the Touches of his First 3 Duel Maps. *

While I've been testing the Challenges on my Maps, I have found that most if not all of my Imposed Challenges can be done on them.

So, when I find up to at least 10 Play-testers, I will be Play-testing my maps. If you wish to help out, check up on my Editing Thread. :D

In order for me to continue with creating more Duel Maps that will be both Weapon and Health Balanced for High-Octane Duel and DM, I'll need to have people test the maps already in the - Tournament Map Pack.

Last night Red.Sys, SSW and I were playing matches of Duel in FunCrusher, and the next that showed up happened to be Toadman.
When I passed in the lower levels, I noticed a large oscilating pool of Bubble Lead. SSW appears behind me with Air Shooter Cocked back, and I run into the trap out of fear. And I had a Rush Jet on me as well.

..SSW gave the -Ran a Lead Bubble Bath. D:

I tested this a bit myself, while I've isolated myself from Online play to work on the Tournament Map-Pack.

The modes are wonderful now, SSW. :D

As for the ?-Mode, It maybe could use a little bit more tweaks with the %'s. And as for that special box....

Maybe it could drop a rune as a rare item?

If the idea of bosses is viable, we could be able to branch into this the same way one of SSW's Acheivement Challenges worked, using his Kung-Fu Cutman.

For example: Facing the Megaman Robot Masters of MM1~6 in order of weakness.

Or: Facing A Choice Of Bosses, upon the road taken, and Method of progression.

If the bosses were pre-given thier assigned weapons and players of any number were to fight them, it would give a *totally* original CO-Op feel to defeat the Masters in order to gain thier weapon and continue.

Now, work that idea with multiple paths, and multiple Masters in a sector definition, in accordance of a Base 4 system, like of MM7's Master Layout, with the exception of MM, which would have to be Base 3.

You could have Four Masters of the specific weaknesses of the series being fought against by players of varied skill, the Teleporter/Hallway/Launch to the next sector with the next Masters remianing locked until all four Masters were defeated and thier weapons used to continue to the next area.

If we were to make this a CO-OP Mod, we could also have base of Skins to choose from, even if it would be small.

This was actually one of the main goals of the mode. If you look at Skulltag/ Doom duel-32 mode for example, you can almost guarantee that both people will die a lot simply because there's not a lot of health around. My goal is to create something faster paced where a fraglimit of 25 is not unreasonable (as opposed to the 5 or 10 we usually see in MM8BDM).

If that was your intention, then consider this mode win, homeslice.

It really depends on how the health ideas shake out. My original thought was to give every large health pickup a very small possibility of spawning a sphere/ rune.

Lovely format you have, SSW.

I tested it small scale with a duel of bots of somewhat varying difficultly -- From the weakest, to the Nightmare.
With the use of weapons and energy, the balancer is a perfect fit. I don't have to run around changing weapons of varying damage and tiers to refill my energy.

As for health spawning and non-spawning, I'm not sure. When I tested it witht he help of that naughty cousin of mine, we discovered the flaw that any two people playing in a map that doesn't have a PlantBarrierWep and a good area of Big/Small WepEnergy will be at risk of being "Trolled" by more skilled or less skills players by repetitive use of the same weapons, including and not limited to:

All these weapons can end up ruining the duel experience given the situations and circumstances that may lead to the abuse of them. I suggest some form of amending to this, to see if it will fix this problem, as all these weapons can literally sap away health within 10 seconds of skillful use.

On that fact, it'd be normal for a Duel-Fool[Skilled Duelist] to refill and re-engage a target, but in the case they can't find health to do so, they may lose to people more often because of the inconvienence.

I didn't include Star Crash[Hugging], because most of the encounters I've had with that would have to happen at close proximity, and can be survived.

Also, I'm all for that Sphere Power-Up. What will be its use, and how will it be applied?

Normal players that weren't asked by me directly shouldn't have a reason to attempt to crack my many passwords. Even if it's a joke, I take it serious.

Also, the two rules are not connected to each other. Though, I can see a situation which would create a paradox to it:

"But I was just playing around!I don't care. I'm the Server ( " Law " ) /kick "

If that's your point, I see your case. However, I don't want it to happen, even as a joke. If one person tries it, then others will attempt to change things around while I'm away. Knowing the base of people who don't respect/like me, it's likely to happen.

Very Alternate Universe. All of these are my Word Document fan-fic POV in somewhat of a self-monolouge set-up.

I used years I know that are not of the Canon of the MM Univeres, as to make them original.
Also, my messages were stated to 20XX in the last message.
Meaning, it is within the time of around MM6-10. If there was a previous one where it is not the case, I'll change it.

So, stop trolling on it please. Also the Hyphen is not optional. >:/

In all honesty, I don't think the community needs as many tournaments as there is going on now.

The idea's sound, but it's just too much at once.
