I could see that as a possibility Star Dood, but the only problem is, why should you be selected over every other person already out of the tournament? Don't take that the wrong way, you're a great guy, but I can't see a respectable tournament all of a sudden playing favorites. It's mostly unfair to those who are already out of the tournament, which is why I refused to potentialy take Tornado's spot in the Robot Master tournament. It's just not really fair. Ultimately, it comes down to the feelings of those who have already been knocked out and rtist's.

And yes Bluebrawl, I will be there. I have been working around in fraps as Turbo nver gets on to talk, and I might have something working alright. Still fiddling and all, so yeah.

@StarDood:If the person being picked to face me accepts the face he most likely will not walk away with a victory over me, I don't particularly care about who/what specifics, as long as I know this person isn't going to try to pull a fast one with a bad map set-up.
That being said, we could put it to a vote of who would be most fitting from the Consolation Bracket to be the replacement for Remchu. Nothing screams democracy like someone putting you into a befitting Hunger Games scenario. Only without the food.

@Rawk: If need be and all parties included do not have quarrel with it, I will stand in for Turbo. Of course, this would require you to add me.

I hope you realize what you'd be getting yourself into.

That -Ran is one tough cookie. :T

Send me that MidnightMap sometime. I could use more textures. =<

^I agree'd.

Rtist, Remchu is nowhere to be found. And it's four days until the deadline. What am I to do about this?

^ I agree'd.

There tends to be this unspoken set of rules people tend to have about who's socially acceptable based on what they say or do.

Everyone ends up walking on eggshells when they attempt to rationalize why someone does this or that, and says that's why they can't be this or that.
Especially when the whole thing can be avoided by having a sit down with one another. :V

It tends to make some people feel piqued to find out why, myself included. :T

I don't know why you guys always act like the world is full of so much dangerous danger.
It's a Facebook Group.
If you can't handle it, don't join.
But don't go all blah, blah, blah drama, blah, blah, blah creepy.

^I agree'd.

To be completely honest, I really don't see the point of this. Yeah, let's all get connected as one community!...And then it gets creepy because we know tons of personal stuff about each other!
^I agree'd.

People will start befriending people that don't' want to be befriended from this site on FB, and then things will become dramatic more than they are now.

^I lol'd Lrn2edit
If you're not working on it, how do you expect to get positive FB?

I can understand if the layout is done and you need structural FB. But leaving for a week and asking people to feedback on something half-finished is both half-baked and a recipe for negative feedback.

What is the point of this thread anymore? I request a logical session of thought and a possible locking?

If only I wasn't the only one designing.. :T

That's an interesting statement coming from you, -Ran, as you and I both know what it means. So I'll skip to the point: What kind of design are you interested in sharing? ||Whatever the design team that signs on wants to explore, I'm open for it.|| I generally reserve my map-input for maps that are completed/largely close to completion, as I know of great deal of creators are protective/possessive/etc. of their ideas and it's easy to offend someone by acting in a way that implies your ideas are superior (even if they are, it takes large integrity to recognize that), or trying to "supplement" someone's ideas. ||I see, I'll put that on my mind. ||From what I can tell, these are duel maps, correct?||Intended for duel, really. Anyone can try it for other modes. HIFN01 is Especially derpyfun for DM. I got to 69 frags in 10 minutes with 5 bots. || I get most of my ideas of map layouts AFTER playing them (which is why I look more at completed maps), so testing would be easy- simply duke it out. So, let me know what you're interested: is it ideas for existing maps, ideas for non-existing maps, or even new maps, I'm interested. ||My ideas circulate around map concepts I have built, and destroyed countless times. They tend to require serious thought, because of how someone would play it. Overproductive , I guess. But HIFN01 was made with this logic. And in record time.|| I'll hold until you post screens (I'm confident in your mapping ability; you seem fairly competent in this field) but with screens I should be able to get a sense of the map style you're going for (everyone has their own, really). ||I'm taking them now. ||

The other reason I'm operating from a computer that doesn't have skulltag/related wads/skype/etc. so I'm actually not capable of much at the moment. Once I figure out things next week I'll see what I can do (permission given, of course.)||Let me know when.||

IMO, every stage is my favorite.

When you're forced to play the stages people switch to, no matter what the reason, you tend to become nulled to favoritism in general.
Eh. I'ma Dool-Fool, Dood.

All right, I believe this question is too hard/intresting/not stirring enough s*($ for people to comment on. So, let's call it quits on this one.

Moving on. :T

Seeing as how I have now finished about 3 or four maps, and now a map set to go into the HiFn Mainstream, this raises a intresting question to mind:

What is your favorite map, and the real reason why?

And no, "Waveman, jousting", is not good enough a answer/reason. Details, people. Details.

Bump for the night.
Within the next five days, I will begin prepping for DL3 for the YT&M Set list.

If you wish to send in a request for anything you believe will be good to be 8-Bit'd, leave it here.

Bump for the Night, and What an InfoBump it is!
In a fit of genius. I destroyed and completed HIFN01, and tested it with people I trust to help. They have deemed it good as I see it, and with that I strike HIFN01 as DONE!

Expect Screenshots within the next five days.
