The Skeleton Joe nearby makes this even more humerus.  :ugeek:

As someone who puts effort into every meal I make, I never saw it that way and I technically agree. I say technically because it's still good. ;_;

Cheesecake + Rocky Road ice cream over it any day, though.

It was fun working on this too, Nemz. I just wanted to point out you're a really great teacher.

I know I said I was gonna stay out of this discussion, but...

In my eyes, it is not the development team's job to entertain you. It is the development team's job to make MM8BDM great, and to make you want to play it.
Well, in my eyes, you're not gonna make me want to play 8BDM if it's not entertaining. That's not really as great as you think it is, and if the expansion keeps going in that direction, it'll just be wasted time and effort.

I've done things in 3d floors before such as eliminating wave bikes if a player lands on them, but I had no idea this kind of effect was possible. Still, I wish air push effects in non-solid 3d floors were possible...

Oh, it might be a good idea to have those bars outside the water as well so players know when it's safe to jump in.

I agree with Justin - those textures look kickass and the layout seems pretty interesting. You said before that the water would shock players, but how exactly does that work?

Well, "this shit that doesn't matter" is obviously your point of view. It matters to some, and yet here you are, caring all over the place. How ironic.

Then don't bother replying, either. At this point, you're just talking out of your ass.

seriously though if you're calling my poor post a shitpost while things like these memey abominations exist then i'm pretty sure you're a bit confused on the shitpost term
Those... are forum games. I'm pretty sure that's a lenient enough place to post such a thing. Yeah, they're silly threads, but you don't have to like them. You want another example of shitposting that isn't your own?

Nobody should ever be looking for quality of any kind in this forum, because there is none.
"Hey guys, this place is shit, so let's make it even more shit!" Yeah... no. This is a case in point of what I was talking about earlier. Of course though, you couldn't be bothered to read that properly, so here we fucking are.

Keep at it if you'd like. I'm done, though.

Yeah, this is the kind of shitposting that gives this site so much quality. Did you even bother to analyze my post? I think you're smart enough to figure out I meant most of the player base and not the game itself.

So damn true. At this point, I honestly don't give two shits about new core expansions because it's the same thing over and over. New maps, weapons and dev bullshit, all of which we have enough of already. That's not to mention that the only way to make stuff for an expansion is if you're in the circle of friends that's managing it, regardless of how long you've been part of the community or how much you've done your part to keep the game alive. And the actual issue is not just devs, it's the "community" as a whole. And I use quotation marks, because I can't really call this a community. You've got shitters left and right spiting you at every fucking chance they get, good reason or not. It's fucking ridiculous considering we're supposedly here because we want to enjoy something we all have in common, not throw shit at each other over it. But you know what? I gave up on this "community" a long time ago. It was doing my health no favors trying to be someone people wanted me to be. So why am I still here? Because cutstuff.net isn't a community - it's a site. But there's nothing special here to write about in terms of user behavior, so I just stick to making more content because I still enjoy it, and there are people who like it too.

That's the worst of it, imo. This is about the first and last time I give a flying fuck about this matter on the forums, because quite frankly, it's a waste of time.

Neither of these were my input but I'm okay with either since I couldn't find anything good or witty.

I have separate folders for Zandronum and MM8BDM. Still, I figured my problem was loading the files in a certain order but none of the above worked, either.

Hey, I'm back! And I'm bringing a rather huge update! Over the past month, I've been mainly focused in making changes to the existing maps, while slowly but steadily creating new ones. Let's look into this screenshot dump where I'll explain things in more detail.

One of my main goals for KNDM-v2a is to completely redo the health and ammo layouts. This has already been done for a few of my maps, such as KNDM08. I've noticed that having those pickups right against corners only is a really bad idea.

So what about KNDM01? It's going to be replaced, mainly due to the same issue as KNDM06 - it's an eyesore. However, the layout is also pretty confusing as since it's completely symmetrical, it's very easy to get lost and lose track of other players. As for what it's getting replaced with, I'm keeping that under wraps along with many other things to come. I can say, however, that I aim to retain the explosive weapon layout while at the same time introducing new concepts. Of course though, that also means it will be a new layout, which will hopefully turn out to be pretty interesting if its gimmicks are used correctly.

That's it for this update! See y'all later.

If you mean the flashing light tiles to the left of the sheet, I see those. They're the ones that resemble Spark Man tiles.
