It's a catchphrase that sly fox uses.

Well, I can assure you, any "jerks" on the forums won't last long under my watch. It's the actual game it's self. That is the reason why most people are here as of now. With a huge influx of "jerk" players the game will get a bad reputation. Then once they leave we will probably have less players than before and a horrible reputation. Also if there is huge identity crises we would not be able redeem ourself s in any other place than here. This is my biggest fear.
Well, it seems that we're partially in a Crisis. Soon they'll learn colors, and begin mimicking players left and right. Our identities are practically gone. (I've already seen 4 Cutman Mike clones -.-)
So.. look to this as good or bad, but we need a plan.
Happy birthday to both of you!
Quote from: "Duora Super Gyro"I have to disagree with alot of the above comments. Call of Duty is a good game to me, It does get annoying sometimes because of the people who play it. BUT THAT HAPPENS WITH ALL GAMES. More when the games have online.
Quote from: "Solarblast5"Here are the reasons I hate CODThere trying there best you know, They cant perfectly balance each of the weapons, Nobody can balance everything in a game like this. The maps are fine, no map can be perfect. They have been trying to improve but the stuff they do isn't exactly easy to fix. Though I would love more zombies And I would like more info about this because your saying whats bad in the game but if your going to do that, explain how ot do that. But thats just my opinon.
1. Piss poor campaign
I enjoyed the campaign a lot and would like to know why you dont.
I think he means that it's boring to play by yourself when there's multiplayer.
Compared to most other FPS the campaign is ether boring or just too short. The older games (MW2 and back had good campaigns though. Make it like those)
2. Piss poor community
There are a lot of good people in who play COD
The community is basically either A: A bunch of 12- year olds, or B: A bunch of swear hardy lower 20's who think they're all that since Doritos came out. Very little doesn't fit into these categories.
This
3. Terrible muiltplayer weapon balance.
Plz Explain.
With pleasure, and I'll use Black Ops as my source. The AK74U with Rapid Fire, The Famas, and The Aug are some of the most OP as hell weapons in that game. Most people dare not to venture out and try other weapons besides those.
I would be here all day if I told your EVERY detail why the weapons are unbalanced in general but to main things that get me is:
1. MW3 and Black Ops as Shotguns are out classed by every gun especially SMG's since they are meant for mostly the same thing, close range combat, while shotguns do have more base damage there range is TOO short, and unless you stealth up to them and manage to catch them off guard you usually die. However SMG's have more ammo and a better rate of fire than most shotguns and even though they do less damage you have more range so if you screw up you have a better chance of escaping because you are more far away. The Rate of fire and more ammo/ clip size also make up for the less damage.
2. Snipers, because of how much damage they do regardless they are a god send. Even though they have a slow rate of fire if you master quick scoping you are nearly un-touch able. If people played like most snipers do then I would not have a problem with them.(hiding somewhere and shooting you there)
4. $50 price tag for a mostly online game
While the game is mostly online, Its alot of fun offline too.
Wait for the price to lower=problem solved. I picked up Black Ops at $20, quite reasonable if you ask me.
The price for a game like this should be 25$ for the campaign 25$ for the Online. However because that the campaign is so short and meh I feel ripped off. If the campaign lessens so should the cost for it.
5. $50 dollar map packs that should be in the game from the start
...I hate DLC. I agree with this.
Agreed.
6. Terrible maps
I have to admit, MW2 had better maps then MW3 but they aren't bad.
Using Black Ops as another example: The maps in my opinion are just brilliant. It seems that after playing it quite abit, there really isn't a map I hate. Hell, I've even grown to love Villa, and while Array is at the top of the list for others and the bottom of the list for mine, I still enjoy playing on it.
This is section is mostly opinion based so to each there own. Here are my reasons.
Using MW3 and Black OPS as source: Very few of the maps that we get are good compared to how many we have. In Black Ops there are mostly slightly above average and good maps with the good maps in my opinion being Nuke Town, Stadium, and hotel, they have a unique charm to them and have color to them that is not grit and grey. However the other maps come of as low par because they are just poor in design and are painful to look at. In MW3 the only good maps in my opinion are dome and seatown because there is more that just one color and they have a small bit of complexity to them that I like. (seatown has long open fields for long range and corners and tight hallways for short range, and dome is like this but smaller) even though these maps are considered small and close range does not mean I love all small maps. Hard Hat is my least favorite because of how brown it is and how many camping spots there are.
7. Bad game modes
Bad Game modes? Witch ones are bad?
Yea.. I don't really get where he's coming with this. There's like.. 15-20+ game modes..
Not all things are meant for something, like having chocolate on salad. Like the previous statement it makes little sense. The issue is that not all game modes work for all maps. Now nearly every FPS out there has this, the only two i've seen it do this well was TF2 and MM8BDM in the latter most maps work for LMS and DM variants but we have exclusive maps for CTF. In all COD games most game modes fall flat on some maps because they are not designed for it. If the maps were tweaked or had exclusive maps for certain game modes then this problem would be fixed.
8. Bad Perk Balance
How are they unbalanced?
Second Chance. Do I really need to say more for how much that perk pisses people off? Ghost is up there, although it's quite handy if you don't noob the living shit out of it.
MW3 as source: This comes down to "Why should I use this when I have this". For example the blue perks it comes down to Slight of Hand or Scavenger, the other perks fall flat due to just not being more useful than those two. Overkill and hard-line are other grips I have with balance. It is like if some one said would you like a slice of fancy cake for 1$ or a full normal cake for 1$. One looks seemingly better but if you look at it closely the other is better.
The only reason I bought MW3 was to flesh out my PS3 library. I am not buying another COD game now because of it.
I do admit that It has potential, (Mostly zombies though) Just give the IP to someone else, have better maps, more weapon balance, remove/ improve perks, add zombies, make zombies another campaign, have a good campaign, drop the price tag by 5$, add all the maps that were going to be in a map pack at the start of the game.
The series should've ended a long time ago. Seriously. All they're doing is spending about an hour on the campaign, copying and pasting a few things from the old multiplayer, change a few of them, add in some new maps, and boom. New COD games. It's just a rehash game after game, and they really need to just end it. Besides, 12- year olds thinking they're cool because they play an M rated game pisses me off abit.
I rest my case.
