What CMM suggested seems like it will work.

You know, the whole 'give each class all weapons but deny them acess to them or something' idea.

It would also stop the fact that when you stand on a weapon as a class other than Mega/Proto/Bass, it comes up on the message box with 'Weapon Get! Weapon that you can't use' a billion times.

Psh, one direction sprites are for lazy people.



I delved into the misc. section for MM2 and found the 1 Up Head and the Wily Fortress Skull. Quickly recoloured the helmet with Wily Team colours and voila.

Feel free to choose from any of the skull concepts. I was thinking that the blue head sprites could be for Dr. Light team (duh) and the red one for Wily. The Wily Fortress Skull could also be used for Dr. Wily team, but as Smashbro said, if this mode is ever made compatible with 4Teams, recolouring a generic helmet sprite for each team would probably be for the best.

If you want Auto as one of the pillars, it would be easy to sift through the MM8BDM file in SlumpEd and find the idle for all rotations.

But also, is the original Skulltag enabled for 4 teams? Or is 2 the max?

Yes, I know they're one directional sprites >_>

Hm...Leafing Leaving Leaf Shield right in the open doesn't sound like the best thing to do. Same goes with Napalm. Also, if the Tornado weapon is like the original, it probably shouldn't be in the open either if it gets replaced when the weapon for it comes out.

Would it be possible to spawn the weapons at intervals next to the holes and make it disappear when taken? For example, Flame Man shows up on the Archive screen, then the weapon drops out for people to take.

Just a thought.

I think it would be awesome to make something similar to the Endless Stage idea using a variant of LMS.
Also, this would be for multiplayer, so remember that.

You could make a huge map with many different segments in it (I'm thinking of each map having around 20-30 segments) and adding some way to count screens past. Once one person's left, they win. Players wouldn't be able to hurt each other, so they're focused on completing the course, not killing each other.

It might be a nice idea to prevent stalling by if one person reaches to a certain amount of screens, the next teleporter would send them to an extra room with a finish line. Once they pass it, everyone else would die. But of course, this would make it not-so endless.

This skin's looking pretty good, but I have three gripes:

1) The lower part of it's body looks a little blocky, try getting rid of a couple of pixels to smoothen it a bit.
2) The back poses look bland. Add some air vents or something on it's back to stop it from being all white.
3) On some of the back and front poses, I can see a bit of the white on Mega Man's eyes (which is good) but I can also see patches of another white. Make sure it's all the same colour.

Also, you don't need the mirrored sprites; get rid of the ones facing left. Keep up the good work.

Thank goodness. I think it would also be pretty neat if someone made a skin of Knight Man and Proto Man without their shields, so:

1) Proto Man won't have 2 shields when he uses his buster.

2) Knight Man can be given a shield that works like Proto's currently does (with the shield edited to look like knight man's of course), which would show how big the shield is and where you can shoot at and it won't get deflected.

The visuals of Knight's shield is currently a problem because the shield on the skin is much smaller than it actually is. Also, the shield itself is somewhat bugged, which better have happened with the fix.

Actually, I think I'd find it more fun if you crashed when hitting a wall. It makes the races more hectic, since you have to be wary of your opponents and the terrain. Also, it makes them much shorter :p .

Yeah, Metal definitely dies in 1 hit from Bubble's bubbles.

It's kind of ironic, since Bubble Man should be weak to Metal Man, not the other way around.

An inconvinience is still an inconvinience. Maybe that means you have to move around the rooms a bit. I'm fine with some teleporters so the level actually works, but at least try to connect some areas without them.

Also about Flan's map (sorry if this has been mentioned before), but the doors/curtains have some issues because they're just teleporters. SSW noticed that it is possible to telefrag people just by going through the doors, which isn't very great.

Eh, the Roboenza NOPHOPE isn't that great. And it will get annoying when the last survivor is inevitably camping above the bots for several minutes.

Well it's not the platforming I'm concerned about, it's the fact that the platforming is insta-kill (ironic that it happens all the time in the originals). Especially since it's not just some jump to get a random weapon, you actually need to do this jump to score points. I know it's frustrating when I have the flag, everything looks good-oh wait, I screw up the jump. BOOM! My attempt to score a point fails horribly and the flag is returned to the enemy's base.

Slight exaggeration there, but my point is made.

Personally, I love a map with some non-lethal platforming (coughcoughWhomp'sFortressRemixcoughcough).
