So I stumbled upon those MM10 concept designs again.

And then I saw that Solar Man design and did a little work.



Would this be something worth skinning? Does it need improvement? Should I do one of Chill or Strike's beta designs next?

I've gotten a PM or two about it, and yes, my avatar is from the Archie comic. Skull Man has yet to appear in the main MM series, but pretty much all the Robot Masters appeared at once during the Worlds Collide crossover. This particular shot is from a two-page spread showing Sonic out-maneuvering Quick Man and blasting his way through a dozen or so other RMs in just a few seconds' time... which if the RMs were actually trying, would probably not actually happen. Wimps.

I just found the Skull tidbit hilarious.

I've had my fair share.

One of the weirdest in recent memory stemmed from a Megaman RP I was in awhile back, in which Star Man was a magnificent bastard with... well, let's say he wasn't unlike a rapist in some ways... you would really have to read through the RP for yourself to understand how much of an epic bastard he was. His player was rather brilliant at making "Andromeda" rather dreadful, and after a while, other people started commenting that they'd been having... "Andy dreams".

My dream in particular involved my mother buying herself a new Android tablet and naming it... wait for it... "Andy". Yep.

Despite my protests and somehow knowing that saying "Andy" too many times would summon the real thing, she sat down and was somehow playing TF2 on her new tablet, saying how much she loved "Andy" over and over. Eventually, there was a knock from inside our closet, and when I stupidly opened it, there he was in all his disturbing, bastardized glory. Then I woke up.

When I described it the next day, I mistakenly used the phrase "came out of the closet".

MM3 Wily, I became Scrooge in my first round of Hale in... about a month or so? It's been a while.

So I follow a guy through the teleporter, score a telefrag, then kill someone else standing to the side. This immediately prompts all 10/12 players below to pelt me with Flash Bombs. This server was hella crowded at the time.

Game over, right? Not just yet.

It seemed that a few people followed me through the teleporter a few seconds later, and then I used my Rage.

The Mobies scored no less than 10 frags.

Name: Warmonger Mars
Skin: Stardroid Mars. I'm planning on making this skin eventually.
Voice Clips: TF2 Soldier?
Health: 2500-2700 (tankish, of course)
Speed: 80% (somewhat slower)
Strength: 1/4 damage from explosive weapons (Hyper Bomb, Napalm Bomb, Flash Bomb, ect)
Weakness: extra damage from water weapons (Water Wave, Bubble Lead, ect)
Other: No recoil or knockback. At all. Tank mows over everything.

Main Attack: Photon Triad: A spread fire attack that fires three heavily-damaging missiles. Will IG if all three hit the same target (essentially, point-blank). About 1.5 second cooldown to avoid spam.
Item: Landmine: Drops an IG mine that is triggered by proximity or automatically detonates after about five-ten seconds. 5 uses.

Super Jump: Napalm Booster: Just your standard super jump, but drops two grenades (Napalm Bomb-like weapon) at the peak of the jump for aerial attacks.
Rage: Photon Barrage: Essentially this. Fires about 10-15 homing missiles that each do about as much damage as a single mainfire missile. Will utterly destroy everything in big, open areas. Requires ten-second cooldown before you can attack afterwards.

Theme:

Possibly. I'd prefer something metal and brutal-sounding, but I'm not really inclined to go digging around YT for something right now.
