I played a Metroid game for the first time last night. I died several times just trying to get the first set of missiles...

Seems like we have to tell people that a lot, doesn't it?

Really? Well, all fandoms have people like that in them. I guess I've just seen less from the Pony fandom than I've seen from some others. Or perhaps I just haven't been exposed to enough them.

Gee, I didn't see what some people have against Pony fans. Sure, there's a lot of them, but at least they're not really pushy and aggressive like some other fandoms. From what I've seen anyway.

Even if I explained she'd never understand. She's quite judgmental, most of my family is. My dad thinks I have no taste or knowledge in art just because I believe video games, which he refers to as "that Japanese crap", can be an art form.

Also, I like Ponies because the animation is so smooth, and it's a really good kid's show. I can really appreciate that, I almost never see really good kid's shows anymore and the animation I see in other shows just looks lazy most of the time. To me anyway...

Oh, and yes, I'm the sister.

So my Grandma thinks I'm an incredibly immature and juvenile person just because I mentioned watching My Little Pony the other day.

Hostility? On cutstuff? Gee, this is the nicest community I've ever been a part of, it would be a shame to see it turn into what the last forum I was apart of turned into. Plus, I can't imagine someone wanting to antagonize Kapus, he seems like one of our most friendly members.

I got the third Archie Mega Man comic the other day. I have to say, I really like this so far. The only thing bugging me so far is how quickly the Robot Masters are being beaten, but that's probably just because the first set are going to be allies like usual, and get their spotlights later.

It's pretty evident how much research Ian Flynn did before hand to get things right. I mean, there was even a Megas reference, that made me pretty happy.

So, the Dream World is way more fun than I thought it'd be. I like tucking in a different Pokemon everyday. I also got all the berries I was looking for, so it's really useful for that. Plus, I've gotten some pretty neat Pokemon from it.

Thanks,he was searching for a shiny Zangoose (still is but whatever).
It took him 728 encounters at the double grass at Village Bridge.
I saw the thing with my own eyes.
Gee, I don't think I'd have the patience to actually look for a shiny. But now that you mention the dark grass's double encounters, that probably speeds things up a good bit.

So I finally got the EVs to add up properly. I put 252 EVs in her Sp. Attack, 252 in her Sp. Defense and the last 4 in her Defense. She's a Reuniclus, by the way. Her stats still aren't that impressive, but several guides said that they don't really take affect until later levels. I think I ended up teaching her Wonder Room, Recover, Psychic, and Focus Blast...

Anyway, I hope she ends up being stronger than my Pokemon that weren't EV trained.

Aaah! I was playing Oregon Trail 5 just a moment ago. It was a pretty successful run until it glitched up. It claimed there was a hill in my way, and there wasn't, the title of the area was just "On the Trail" rather than any actual hill in the game. Not only that, but when ever I tried to get past the imaginary hill, the wagon tipped over. Every single time, until we lost all my supplies and everyone died of internal injuries...

Lastly, I finally figured out what I was doing wrong with EV training last night. I forgot to infect it with Pokerus, so it was earning half of what I expected it to. I'll try again tomorrow.
Yep.That'll do it!

It was actually a little embarrassing, I've been having a pretty bad week, so I got very, very angry when I saw it wasn't adding up right. When I woke this morning I suddenly thought, "Ah! I didn't infect her!" I was quite relived.

I don't have a very good memory, you see. It's part of why I go so long without making a post sometimes. I also have a tenancy to get numbers all backwards and jumbled up, that's why I was so worried about if my math was right or not.

So, our neighbors got a couple of kittens. That doesn't seem like a good idea to me, it seem like they're always gone, it's not good for kittens that young to left alone so much. So they come to us for attention.

Since I don't what they named them, I tried to come up with something to call them for now. I wanted to call them Crea and Prea, but then I noticed they were male. So I watched them, one's really friendly and tends to follows us around(into our house, even) and the other one's pretty independent and wanders off sometimes, so I ended up calling them Emmet and Ingo.

Did you give your pokemon all of the medicine at once?
That'll screw it up!

That's not what numerous guides said... They all advised giving 10 right away to knock 100 EVs of the grand total.

Unless you mean both kinds at the same time, because I didn't do that. I gave 10 Calciums and fought 19 Heatmor, then 10 Zincs and fought 19 Gothorita.

Oh, no matter how many times I try, I can't seem to get this EV thing right...

I gave my Pokemon 10 Calciums and 10 Zincs, to reduce the needed EVs of each to 152. Since I was fighting Heatmor(2 Sp.Atk) and Gothorita(2 Sp.Def) I should be earning 8 EVs per battle because of my Pokerus/Macho Brace.

By dividing 152 by 8 I find that I need to fight 19 of each. then I gave it 4 Heath Wings for the leftover EVs and then 2 more for two that would be wasted anyway. But I talked to the lady in Opelucid and she said it didn't have maxed EVs. I even tried fight a couple more of each Pokemon, just in case I miss counted, but she still claimed it wasn't enough.

Now I'm worried. Did I miss count really badly, or is my math wrong? I was so sure I'd do it right this time too...
