MM8BDM Discussion / Re: how often do you play mm8bdm?
« on: December 23, 2011, 08:21:47 AM »
I'm usually on whenever Smunch is on, so around 4:30 pm (US Eastern TZ) probably 5 days out of 7. During the winter break, it's anyone's guess, maybe the entire day maybe not at all. Depends on whether I'm in the mood for some Skyward Sword or not.

I enjoy hosting 4 TLMS with Chaos Generator. It's always fun.

I don't know if any of you frequent the Terraria forums (I do as addicted2pistachios), after a few weeks I made some textures. If any of you use textures I made a bunch of Mega Man textures that can be obtained here: http://www.terrariaonline.com/threads/m ... not.40478/

I hope you guys enjoy, if you're confused as how to use said textures then here:

Cheers.

I would definitely use that server.  After returning from the next week and a half of technological depravation.  And I am very much liking the visual of a Quote-like person.

Gemshard;  its a very non-linear game in which you can create architectural stuff, explore violent caves/corrupted areas, pick up unique treasure and weapons fight some bosses, and do all sorts of other various things that causes you to forget about anything else important you may have to be doing.  I'm pretty sure that I butchered how to describe it, but oh well.

Also, I read somewhere that finding 'The Groom' and his top hat was bugged, but I just found him normally on a blood moon.  Anyone know how this is exprained?
Heavy time user of this 2-D architectual/adventurng gem of a game. Once I'm back from surrender ville and a third world country I'd be glad to do some server stuff. I made a liveable cutman house, but it was on a mutiplayer servr, hence lost forever.
The wiki say that the Groom is bugged an won't appear for 1.0.4, however with the release of 1.0.5 they are now very much available; the wiki just hasn't been updated yet.

MM8BDM Discussion / Re: Mac Release Updated
« on: June 23, 2011, 05:59:07 AM »
Yes, it was not a difficult to do update, it was meant for those who do not know how to right click and "Show Package Contents".
After seeing a few implementations of monogame, I think it might be better suited as a wrapper than wineskin. But I don't actually know what MM8BDM is coded with or how I would compile it into monogame. I'll take a look at it another day, but if I had a nickel for every time my server crashed with this wineskin wrapper, I'd have *looks at crash logs* 28 nickels.

MM8BDM Discussion / Mac Release Updated EDIT: Wineskin Core Update.
« on: June 23, 2011, 04:00:18 AM »
Original thread here: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=2337&hilit=unofficial+mac
EDIT: After taking a look at the wineskin webpage, it appears that they've released a new version of their wrapper, version 2.3.
I took the time to update the wrapper, I personally felt like it lasted longer when hosting; didn't crash.
Still fitted for v2b. This is still belthesar's Wrapper, I just updated it seeing how he hasn't posted in a while (I think, I may be wrong, I don't even post that often).

=============================================================================
Earlier post:
Felt like I should share with all the mac users, here is an updated version of belthesar's Mac Wrapper, fitted for v2b.
I just felt like updating it, wasn't hard, jut moved some files around. Any credit should be given to belthesar for his primary implementation of this wrapper, not me.
(I did however make a lovely folder icon where the app is now stored  :) )

Still a bit buggy as usual (at least for me it is, crashes every once in while when trying to host). Other than that it's good to go.

For any future updates, it would be wise to go to the original thread. I simply did this seeing how I was impatient for belthesar's future update, hence I decided to share with any one who wants it.
If this turns into a Mac vs PC thread so help me God I'll hard knuckle you guys in the worst of places. Strain your eyes.

And so Michael712 and Rush fought.
The clash of metal and grinding gears echoed across the night sky.
Victory was at hand
But in the end... I overcame the program.

Really great matches Michael, I thoroughly enjoyed them; the last match was rather close though.
Rather odd glitch with Needle Man, the secondary attack (head jab) somehow reached across the entire stage and hit him (although I was aiming straight at him). This only happened once though and was not an absolute factor for victory.

10 to 7 on Heat Man stage.

10 to 8 on Gravity Man stage.

Seed me bahbeh.

Soup.
Guess I'll join in.
Name: The Rush
Robot Master: Needle Man
I'm available from 3:00 to 6:00 pm and 10:00 to 11:00 pm Weekdays.

Skins & Bots etc / Re: Kapus' Skins (LATEST: BONEY!)
« on: April 02, 2011, 03:45:15 PM »
I don't know if it's my computer that's giving me the hard time, but the download link on mediafire isn't working. That is to say, your link to mediafire works, but mediafire itself is giving me the headache for this one particular file.
Boney, so close yet so far away  :(

IT NEEDS MORE HATE!
Just kidding, I secretly love you and your bodies.

I'm surprised someone was using my Jerry skin other than me. It was meant to be some sort of personal skin, I never expected someone to actually like it. And I lol'd at the wedding pics.

I love your skin, it's quite awesome, who wouldn't love Jerry? He camouflages perfectly.
Keep those skins coming.  :)
