Gilgamesh? I approve.

May need some help with the sound clips, if possible.

For Gilgamesh, it could be possible to use certain sound clips used in 012 Dissidia, the same way Punk used a voice clip of Garland. I have no idea for Enkidu, Though.

I wonder if people realize, instead of making a new map pack, they could just submit CSCC Stages to CSCM.
Too bad my map is CTF  :geek:

I have a wild and crazy idea:  What if... just here me out... what if you guys actually FINISHED some of the dozens of projects that are already partially done rather than spending time dreaming up ever more esoteric things you'll inevitably give up on halfway through?

Crazy, right?  I know.  But seriously, what if?!

What if, Indeed. The thing is that making relatively good maps is rather difficult, especially if there aren't that many mappers to make said maps, and only a handful.

I would explain what happened, but I'm pretty sure Mr. Shadow over here would just deny everything I said.

And by the way, I may be a jerk but I'm not a hypocrite. You accused me of being a hypocrite and not Cvideo.

Genesis texture pack eh? I made Shadowman's textures a while back and sent it to Mega. I don't know you guys saw it or not but here anyways.

IMO it could use some work. Mainly on the floors and on the tanks.

After all, Jack, why else would you be so dis-interested in it?

Oh let's see... Since my maps got remade I got kicked out of the dev team. Is that a good enough reason?

Quote from: "Myroc"
Jack Corvus? Not on the dev-team. He's submitted maps and supported us, and I respect him for that, but he is not on the dev-team, and appears to be vaguely misinformed.

You mean ripped tilesets (expect Bubbleman, since you ripped that), sprites and submitted 2 maps which weren't that great. Also I made the weapon icons. If that's not good enough to get on a dev team, I have no clue what to do to get on one. Did I mention that ripping most of the textures and just about all the sprites was a general pain. All for what? Just Myroc's respect, I guess. And I'm not even 100% sure YD will keep my name in the RNC credits because, you know. It's YD we are talking about here.

Quote from: "Myroc"
We are not embarrassed over our work. I was proud to release Powered Up, (even if, in hindsight, I would very much like to have gone back and change a lot of things), and I will be proud to have this released when this is finished.

I am embarra- oh wait. I'm not on the dev team. I don't count. I never count. In anything. I don't even think I have a saying in my map pack too >_>

Oh, and by the way we are getting horribly off topic >_>

It's finished?! If so, why isn't there a download link then?

This is YD we're talking about. If he doesn't feel like it, he doesn't do it.

1 or 2 stages aren't finished and there still needs to be serious weapon and map testing before it's actually released.

Shying away from this rather heated discussion, I'm starting to think that, in addition to the tutorial already present for basic setup by Slyfox and the doomseeker/wads tutorial by Bluebrawl, the newcomers really seem to need a tutorial explaining how most of the weapons work, as some weapons aren't really apparent in their mechanics, and there has been general confusion arising from this lack of knowledge.

I wouldn't mind doing this, all I would need is good video editing software >_>

And possibly, a better microphone

Watch out, we got a badass here.

Welp, welcome to CutStuff, I am Jack Corvus, also known as the village idiot.

For some silly reason I didn't take a look at KCTF05 when you first re-released it, and I took a look at it after you released the hotfix. Knux, I now pronouce you an extremly silly person for not fixing the stuff I found, as they are rather obvious. They are so obvious that I re-downloaded the hotfix just to make sure.

These centaurman textures should be red, since we are on Wily's side

I have no idea what happened here.

Let me get this straight, we are on Wily's side yet the Logos are of Dr. Light? Also the fences in this path are not solid at all.

EDIT: Found 2 more things.

On of the side paths the supposed raised floor is lowered, mainly caused due to copy and paste (I think)

Sakugarne is stuck in the floor.

MM8BDM Discussion / Re: The BitCast: An MM8BDM podcast channel idea
« on: August 07, 2012, 10:28:33 PM »
One thing I could do is record myself making maps, similiar to the way Cutmanmike did when he made Hardman's stage. Although a few people said that it would be quite pointless since nobody would watch it. I still wouldn't mind doing it though.

At the moment I'm out of maps to make though. I'd have to make some layouts and actually plan things out well.

Also, I only make CTF maps... >_>
Unless somebody asks me to make a DM map specifically...

But so far no one has answered the questions I asked: Is this a good idea? Do you like the idea or do you think it'll crash and burn? Opinions people, opinions.

Quote from: "Jack Corvus"
An interesting idea. It would be a tad hard to get everything done since there is quite a lot of stuff which could be made. I support this idea, and I would like to help out.

I already gave you my opinion. If you would like me to expand more, then...

In my opinion, it is a good idea to get a few dedicated people from this community to create content (youtube videoes, or just podcasts in this case) to attempt to increase the popularity of the game. However, we cannot be certain what will be the result. We could get tons of views which could result in increasing the game's popularity, or on the other hand we might get little to none views which could therefore result, in some people opinion's, to be a complete waste of time. It's really and truly a 50-50 kind of thing. Unless of course we ask people with a higher reputation to help us out by advertising the channel or something.
