I guess what made the first competition so fun was how people would constantly try and compete among each other. The first competition had people constantly in the server, trying to beat the record or watching people beat the record. Even if the record seemed impossible to beat, people still managed to go against each other and try and edge their opponent by at least .1 seconds.
As I'm typing this, the target competition server is empty.That should be strong enough of an indicator to show how much interest people have in trying to beat the record.

At this rate, people are just going to ragequit from these competitions. It's like there is no competition to begin with.

I stayed in the server all day yesterday to beat the damn record.I ain't trying again, which goes to show how much i lost faith in beating the record...and humanity
