OJ demands it so:

Round One Deadline: August 7th at 12:00 AM EST. This is all current matches but Orange Juice vs. ThatGuyOverThere on the bottom half!
Round Two Deadline: August 10th at 12:00 AM EST. All quarterfinal matches should be done by this date!
I'd like for the Elimination Bracket to be completed by August 15th because that's when school starts!

Unless I'm notified well in advance (like today or tomorrow for Round One) of any prior conflicts, these deadlines will stand.

Consolation Bracket, reminder PMs will be sent today. Once I see activity start up again (which it will), I'll set your deadlines.

Great work on getting matches in, top half of the Elimination Bracket! Other half, do work.

The Consolation Bracket is still a thing. It's up to you all to organize your matches, but I will send a reminder PM to everyone.

Smunch and I fought and things.

First Match: MM2WOO - 10-7 King Dumb's favor
Second Match: MM3HAR - 10-1 Smunch's favor
Third Match: MM6FLA - 10-7 Smunch's favor

Very good games, Smunch! Flame Man was especially tense.

To make things a tiny bit more visually clear, I made this cheap bracket online:

Elimination: http://challonge.com/dueltourneyofchampselimination
Consolation: http://challonge.com/dueltourneyofchampsconsolation

All scores that I don't have will be entered in as 0. Please PM or post me your scores so I can update stuff.

Good job Red.

In other news, get those matches in people! You needn't wait for an entire round to finish if you and your opponent are ready for a Round 2 game!

Okay, so I don’t have the bracket graphics, but you’re all clamoring, so here you go. Rules are on the first post. Always have been.

PLEASE NOTE: For the second stage of the competition, duels will be a bit more serious. I ask that talking in servers whilst ranked duels are occurring be limited to strict necessity. Additionally, only two time outs will be allowed to each contestant for every game, with the exception of lag spikes, should they be merely isolated. Also note, that from hence forth, frags scored on players talking outside of a called time-out will count. Don’t talk during your duels, for goodness sake. Frags scored on players about to call a time-out will not count.

Remember, map picks reset for stage two, but once again you may only pick a map once; all matches are best two out of three. Contestants each pick a map, the third is agreed upon mutually.

Knock yourselves out. Not literally, of course.

EDIT: Bracket misplacement. Fix'd.

502
Yeah, probably don't do that. Oftentimes communication must occur between myself and the combatants. The solution is just to keep quiet and temporarily kick those who don't.

503
Watzup and Lego. I believe it is guaranteed that you and Watzup will go on to the Top Sixteen, but his games with Lego will decide who comes in first and who comes in second.

504
Oh snap. I honestly must say I was a bit concerned HD vs. Shade would never happen. Good work both of you in working it out. Work.

Hilman, you're always allowed to watch the duels! These group matches were a bit of fun, but the bracket matches will be a bit more serious. Talking probably won't be happening unless it's pertinent.

Also, because this apparently hasn't been made clear, there are two brackets for the second stage. One bracket will be the standard Elimination Bracket, and will consist of the top two contestants from each group. The first round of this bracket will consist of number one players pitted against number two players. Obviously you won't be facing a groupmate the first round, though.

The second bracket will consist of the third and fourth places of each group, and will be structured very similarly, with third places fighting fourth places for the first round.

Also, only two groups have yet to finish their matches!

505
Yay for sound!! Not yay for no mic!!

Glad you got it mostly sorted out Awb!

506
Oh my. That's pretty darn long.  :|

With Jman and Star Dood having finished their matches, half of the groups have finished!

Our own secret weapon against Armageddon.

Tropes:
Man I don't even know.

508
Just use magnets Awb! How do they work?

You've got some time, don't sweat. But good work keeping up with the matches everybody! We've got three groups with only match-up remaining or one and half!

-RanRan will replace Roc's Creation in Group Six.

Due to personal reasons, the deadline for the completion of the group stage has been extended to Thursday, July 19th. But keep the matches coming! We will start as soon as we can, as long as I can find the time. However, the second stage will begin after the deadline. Any groups not completed will be assessed and ranks determind based upon the matches completed, using the normal determining method.
