General Gaming Discussion / Most embarrassing moments in a video game?

Have you ever had those moments where you felt you've done so badly at a certain part of a game that you became embarrassed?

Some of mine for example:

When I played SA2B for the first time, it took me an average of about 15 minutes to complete each Knuckles/Rouge level.
I crafted a Homewrecker out of achievement items in TF2.
I almost died against Thardus in the original Metroid Prime.
A long while ago, I had no idea how to use the shield in OoT, so I was stuck on that one thing that shoots deku nuts at you in the tree. (This may explain my personal bias against the LoZ games!)
At one point, I ragequit Mother 3 because I couldn't beat the Mecha-Drago. (This is the most embarrassing of them all)
I unintentionally harmed myself while playing MGS2. (Take a guess as to why!)

I wasted about 20 minutes trying to solve a puzzle that leads to a Super Missile door in Metroid Prime 2 only to realize I couldn't jump high enough to reach it.

I haven't collected all my thoughts yet, but here's one thing I immediately came up with:

I think that you saying that us (the six people you mentioned) not playing the game anymore is a bad thing is... (have to choose my words carefully) not applicable...? because it's been pretty much dead (as in, far less active than before) since around early 2012 maybe? I'm not sure but that's besides the point

You mention that not playing the game is severing communication ties, yet you claim that Skype is a major place for community interaction, which is somewhat contradictory to me

I may be incorrect but this is what I think/feel

[9:44:51 PM] A big teddy bear: v2 with MM7 stuff was a major patch and it got people playing it again and people to become more active in general

If I do, it might take a while since I have tons of ideas but I'm generally bad at organizing them.
