Yes you do, or else that would be abusing your powers as a mod. At the very least you could have waited until the page was over before posting, but then it wouldn't make sense, meaning you'd have a pointless post, thus getting you warned.

Or you could've not posted at all and that wouldn't have any negative effect on anyone.
