Well Sean, I'm basically saying that what people do is what people will do, but I just editied the post to be a bit more lenient.

OJ never mentioned about addin' in PU into the equation, but I did. Will it have PU to solve the chip in the pit problem?

I second this

can we troll in your servers without being afraid of getting hit by the banhammer?

Red I think you know me better than that; of course you can.

EDIT: I will host whatever people want :l

1.) Use auto-select, dammit.
2.) Do not whine about not liking what I am hosting, do that elsewhere.
3.) If you have rcon, do not abuse it.
4.) No rage-ciding or rage-specing on roboenza.

The Rcon has 4 slots, and 4 are taken. If you see that a slot is open, PM me and I will tell you if I approve or not if you are interested.

RCON SPOTS:
(click to show/hide)

Lastly, if there are any issues in the server you would like to report, such as severe lag, but also.

I did say I will allow trolling, but a reminder that there is such a thing as too much. If someone is being a flat out dick, and I mean thigns like legitimate racial slurs, things like that, report it and I will deal with it in a way I see fit. <-- olololo

Help & Editing / Helpful Links for New Players *EDIT 08/18/13*
« on: March 29, 2012, 08:15:33 PM »
Hey kids, it's Tengu

This is so we get more online players that need some links to helpful areas all in one spot.

The first thing you need, obviously, is the latest version of MM8DM! The latest version is V3B, which can be found here:
http://cutstuff.net/mm8bdm/?p=194

If you are running MM8BDM off of a MAC, Please go here: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=2337

*NOTE: Currently, there is not a mac build for v3b.

The next step to playing online is getting instructions on installing DOOMSEEKER! Remember, you can't play online without a way to connect. Found here:
http://www.cutstuff.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=728

For a tutorial on how to use and install Doomseeker, look here: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=5246

EDIT: I have noticed a few people having some problems with Doomseeker. If this is not working for you, I recommend IDE (Internet Doom Explorer) Which can be found here: http://doomutils.ucoz.com/load/1

If you can't see servers on doomseeker, or whatever you use to connect please note that the MASTER SERVER has changed. IF you cannot see servers, please go here:
http://www.cutstuff.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=3475

Now, you should see a list of servers in here once it's all configured. I'd like you to direct your attention to the ones with the [BE] Brackets. These are the Best Ever servers.

For information on these servers, please check with this thread: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=5229

The next thing you are going to want are the very popular Map packs, Mod files, etc. That's where the fun is. Here are the ones you're mainly going to want. If there's one you had trouble finding that I have not provided a link to, just ask for the link to be posted.

MAKE SURE ALL OF YOUR MOD FILES ARE PUT IN THE SAME FOLDER

Also, there are too many people that don't know what cutstuff is or how to play online. I think the banner of the launcher needs something that says "Want to play MM8bDM online? Click here!" Then it leads to instructions.
