This is how to fully install the scripts with my wave + details about the mission afterwards!
Step 1. Installing the Scripts [Difficulty: Insanely Easy]
1. Extract scripts inside tf. Don't know where this lies? Here are some paths for you!
32-Bit: C:Program FilesSteamsteamapps[replacewithyoursteamidname]team fortress 2tf
64-Bit: C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamapps[replacewithyoursteamidnameteam fortress 2tf
2. You're done! You may need to restart TF2 if Step 3 doesn't work.
Step 2. (NOTE: This is optional, you do not need to do this.) Allowing Hamachi to work with TF2. [Difficulty: May require some skill]
0. If you haven't installed, go to Step 4.
1. Exit TF2 if open.
2. Go to your Steam Library.
3. Right click Team Fortress 2, then go to properties.
4. Click Launch Options...
5. Type this in without the quotes: "+ip 5.(The rest of your Hamachi IP goes here)"
6. Hit OK, Apply and close.
7. You're done! Launch TF2 for the next step!
Step 3. How to launch my mission [Difficulty: Requires some skill]
1. Exit any server you are currently on.
2. If you have NOT enabled Developer Console, enable it by going to Options, then Controls tab, then click Advanced, and enable Developer Console. To
open it, use the `/~ key for later.
3. Start a server on Decoy or Coaltown. This will NOT work on Mannworks or Custom maps.
Why?
Mannworks: Screws up the custom hats, miscs and other items.
Custom Maps: If there is no area for tanks to come up, it will glitch and you will NOT be able to pass to the next wave.
4. Open up the Developer Console using `/~.
5. Type this in WITHOUT quotes: "tf_mvm_popfile mvm_thisisHARD" HARD needs to be capitalized for all letters.
6. The mission will load, choose your class and fully upgrade your character.
7. Wait for you friends to ready up if you have portforwared or are using Hamachi.
8. IF YOU HAVE ANY FAMILY & FRIENDS, SAY GOODBYE TO THEM NOW.
Step 4. Installing Hamachi [Difficulty: Not Noob-Friendly]
1. Go to this site:
http://hamachi.en.softonic.com/2. Download and install Hamachi using the same setup procedures.
3. When Hamachi is finally installed and launched, create your PC name and everything else.
4. Your IP will be generated under your PC name, next to the power-like button.
5. Create a group for your friends, with a simple password like 123.
6. Give your friends the group name, + password if you have made something like 123 or a more complicated password.
7. Don't want a password? Right click your group, go to properties and disable the password!
8. Wait until they join, then go back to Step 2. to restart!
