These are just quick sketches I do for fun. I can draw dragons in other angles, but it takes me way, way longer, and I don't think that would be a good thing for these silly things I'm drawing. I like doing them quick because otherwise I tend to lose motivation.

Rosalina and Luma look like a more tactical version of the Ice Climbers, except that the Luma doesn't constantly run to you all the time and that there's no delay of attacking between her and the Luma unlike the Ice Climbers.

I think she resembles Eddie from Guilty Gear, considering she's shown summoning Luma (unless that's just her intro), and they have vastly different movesets, but hopefully she's not as difficult to learn.

And before you say "She is a girl, so obviously people are attacking her because of it!!", keep in mind that's not the case.
I can't talk for the rest of the community (and hopefully my foolish belief in humanity means everyone's mind works the same way mine does), but I couldn't care less about how she got into Comcept or how much of a feminist she is, even if I tried to, but for a "community manager", she handled this in the worst way posible, and that's undeniable.

I’m a bit proud of the head, considering all I did was take a crash course on bird anatomy, but I wish I could say the same about the left hand and foot. I can’t fix them for the life of me.
...maybe I should be bored more often.

(Also holy shit my scanner is so bad, I upped the contrast so much that you can actually see the dirt on the sheet and some of the lines still look blurry. Ugh)

Only major rule is that your team may not change any species- moves, EVs, formes, items, etc are all fair game.

  I'll let it slide since it wasn't clear that the first round was a tournament match, but for the rest of the matches, stick with the same team. Keeps people from building full counter teams and silly stuff like that.

Alright, I'll keep that in mind, but thanks for not locking me into that silly Monopsychic team I had

Art Director Sugimori gave me the all clear to tell everyone, so I finally get to make a few announcements about work that I have been doing recently.

I had a hand in the new 3DS game "Pocket Monsters XY". Specifically, I designed some new Pokemon! (listed below)
- Pangoro
- Inkay
- Malamar
- Honedge
- Doublade
- Aegislash
- Tyrunt
- Tyrantrum
- Amaura
- Aurorus

I've actually been doing video game work for quite a while now (over two decades), including projects for things like PCE, MD, and SFC. Apparently the Pokemon art director, Sugimori, had taken notice of some of my past work and that's why he asked me if I'd be interested in doing some design work for Pokemon XY.

So in some ways, designing Pokemon for XY was like an extension of my days of drawing monsters for "ActRaiser 2" and "Beyond Oasis". I am a Pokemon Trainer as well as an illustrator, so needless to say I was incredibly honored and pleased to have this opportunity.

I just thought the Pokemon XY players following me might find this information interesting!

I hated the 15th Pokemon movie because 3 out of 4 interesting characters are frozen at the beginning, and Keldeo is overshadowed by Ash & Co. during the second third of the movie. That and Kyurem was absolutely ruined by his constant moaning.
Also, I guess you could blame this on the fact that I haven't watched the anime in years, but I hated Ash and his friends. Both Ash and Iris were pretty annoying and every scene with Cilan was extrememly ankward because his character is literally just a compilation of anime tropes.

That being said, I still loved all 4 Swords of Justice, specially Keldeo and Cobalion. So I just grabbed a gif from Tumblr and edited it a bit.
