I used to have one (Crytsal) and I got 10 badges. It was way too boring and it felt like a chore. I saw a bunch of other Pokemon games from people in the neighborhood and in schools and they looked like the same thing. Crystal is one of the few games I don't regret selling/losing.

BTW I mean this for any pokemon, not just the new ones.

Is it worth buying one off eBay?

I do not think so when it comes to consoles. You will get confused. Besides, the games were made for the controller. If it were something PC related, now that would be something I'd suggest. Then again you could use your PS3 controller on PC without buying anything (but you will have to DL something to make it work).

I haven't been to a flea market since I was 6 or something. I saw a bunch of weird items and clones of other toys, like some cheap American version of Transformers.

If you don't want to buy online they are usually a gold mine for retro games. Their cheapness is usually high though.

This is the strangest thing ever...
It looks like Gimp isn't applying transparency to .
It only applied tansparency to the guy in my avatar.
I'm serious. I had no idea what I did when I was trying to add transparency to the guy in my avatar.
Here's the sprites with transparency.

Add a transparency layer.

The GC and VC versions are BS.

How's the GC version bad?

Slow, laggy, and can freeze on you. It was emulated terribly compared to the VC version. The VC version was emulated "meh." It wasn't bad, but it isn't 64 quality. Effects are missing, and textures are ruined.

Until Nintendo makes a legitimate port or a GOOD emulator for MM, I strongly agree with LifeupJ. The GC and VC versions are BS.
