Also I see that your doing Glunk for the Kirby's Adventure Expansion =o. It looks pretty interesting and I like what you did with his pain sprites xD.

Skins & Bots etc / Re: Kage's Skins and Sweets (*NEW* Balrog )
« on: July 12, 2011, 08:33:50 PM »
Well I'll just work on recoloring him first since that seems to be the #1 problem with him, then afterwards I'll work on his side and firing sprites after I re-release Balrog since that will probably take a little longer for me to fix if that is fine by you.

Alright fine sheesh I'll change it. = I'll probably have it ready again the the next day if I recolor all the sprites again today as well as remake it into a skin again along with a taunt. But other than the pukish color scheme I gave it, is there anything else I can do to improve it even more?

I found out from my 5 year old brother today that you can actually stand anywhere on top of the spiked ball things in Strikeman's stage without damaging yourself as long as you don't touch the single spike on top. Kindof funny that my brother found out he can do that and I've beaten that game several times already not to mention that he also accidentally found out you can actually eat those cactus plant things in the background that try to eat you in Kirby 64. xD

Games you can never 100% ever or after a certain amount of time has passed (Ex: Pokemon events and certain achievements for the Xbox 360), really bad controls that make the game really difficult and not fun, redoing things in video games a million times even though it feels like you should have beated it already in 1 to 3 tries, and probably most of all, video games giving you almost no indication on what to do and/or where to go next possibly leaving you guessing for hours at a time accomplishing nothing and probably forcing you to use a guide to find out what to do next...

I wasn't expecting a community full of younger people at all... o~o"

Today in Megaman 1 I randomly found out that if you pause the game you can pause it again to the weapon selection screen and select a weapon like normal but the music will continue to stop playing until u unpause it.

I don't think Ax Knight was taken, so sure!

Thanks for your contribution!

No problem glad I could contribute at all in this expansion! xD

Good, good.

Lego, take a crack at those weapons; we're lacking weapons at the moment.

Great Axe Knight work! May want to size it down a bit, other than that it looks great.

Also here to let you all know The Vegetable Valley map has been touched up and finished.

Okay! Will do!

When I played Plugman's stage in Mega Man 9, sometimes his stage music gets altered like some instruments are removed  if you get healed by weapon or health energy, and then it plays normally again after a little bit. I think it also happens in Tornadoman's stage but I'm not for sure...

Mega Man (PC) is technically the first classic Mega Man game to feature an intro stage. (even though that game wasn't really made by Capcom and it didn't really had a boss in the end unless you consider the dog a boss.....)

Mega Man 3 Wily Stage 4 and Mega Man 6 Wily Stage 3 are the only stages that I remembered to not have a unique boss after defeating all 8 robot masters again and instead there is just a teleporter hatch that takes you to the next level.

Quint technically doesn't get destroyed in in Mega Man II (gb) yet he left behind a special weapon for Megaman anyways.

Megaman seems to obtain a weapon from Wily in Megaman II (gb) even though he is suppose to be the final boss and is technically not a robot master. o~o

And finally I never really noticed that Centaurman gallops like a horse when you battle him in Mega Man 6 xD I just somehow never got to hear him gallop for all the times I battled him.

Does anyone mind evalulating my current front, back, back right, and damage sprites of Ax Knight?
(click to show/hide)
I haven't worked on making them walk or attack yet but hopefully I will work on that soon enough once I figure out how he should move and hold his ax when walking, standing, and attacking from the front and back.

Mega Man Discussion / Re: Least Favorite Robot Master from Each Game
« on: June 20, 2011, 06:00:51 PM »
Megaman 1: Bombman - I don't know I liked everyone except this one.
Megaman 2: Bubbleman - Never liked his design as much as all the other robot masters. He is just a suckish scuba diver thats not even a challenge at all even in difficult mode.
Megaman 3: Hardman - Think about the name itself for a second.
Megaman 4: Diveman - I like his design but he was sortof annoying to beat the first time...Toadman would have made this list since he sucks at fighting but... I don't know maybe I have a thing for his toad like look?
Megaman 5: Stoneman - He sucks as a robot master enough said, but I like his stage music though.
Megaman 6: Probably Centaurman because of his stage and his stage music.
Megaman 7: Cloudman - I didn't really like his design that much. He is just a fat robot on a cloud that can't even attack at all if you have his weakness. At least all the other robot masters could continue attacking you or have a counter attack when they get hit by their weakness.
Megaman 8: Clownman - He is just overall creepy...
Megaman and Bass: I don't know Ground Man maybe.
Megaman 9: Jewel Man - I liked his weapon, its just his design....
Megaman 10: Pump Man or Strike Man - Can't think of a reason though
Megaman Powered Up: Oil Man - Ughhhh it just really sucks to play as him and I just don't like his design that much at all.

You know I knew about Mega Man when I was younger, but I never got really into it until like 2 to 3 years ago. The first instance I remembered Mega Man was when I went to a Youth Center during the summer during my elementary school years. They had a SNES and games which included Donkey Kong Country, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, and then finally Mega Man X. I never got myself to playing that game and just simply watched the others play it even as far as fighting Vile the second time. It was different than all the games I owned for my N64 and I thought it would probably be way to hard for me try. Afterwards, I went to some convention like shopping place and saw a used copy of Mega Man Legends for the N64 and asked my dad that I wanted that game making it my first and only Mega Man game I owned for a long time. However, I was never any good at that game and didn't get into it as much as I have hoped. I thought the controls and game itself were complicated and only really made it as far as fighting Tron for the first time. So I just ended up just playing on the other save file playing and getting hit by cars in the city and just run around exploring never really accomplishing anything. Then after that years later I got introduced to the Megaman Battle Networks series through the show and saw other instances of Mega Man in gaming magazines and other thing never really getting my attention so much.

Probably what got me sortof into Mega Man finally was probably either when I heard about Mega Man 9 and listened to the soundtrack on youtube or when I first saw a few of the bosses in gameplay videos of Brutal Mario (a Mario hack filled with bosses from several different video game series) The first classic game I played in the series was probably Mega Man & Bass (even though at the time I couldn't beat anything past the intro level...). However, even when I started getting into Mega Man I couldn't get myself the cdnfidence to playing Mega Man games beyond 1 and 2 especially Mega Man 9 since I heard from people it was like the hardest classic Mega Man game ever. So I just settled playing just the demo of Mega Man 9 on my Xbox 360 until Mega Man 10 was released. Thus, I promised to myself if I could get every single achievemnent in Mega Man 10 including I would try Mega Man 9 and get every achievement for it. Surprisingly to myself I did get every achievement (even though it was mostly done on easy with Bass xD) and I went on to Mega Man 9 and gotten every achievement for that. Then finally after that, I made the decision that I would play and beat fully every single Mega Man game in the classic series including the Gameboy series and Wily Wars and went on into becoming a big fan of the whole series as a result of that.

So yeah that is pretty much my entire story on how I known about Mega Man and how I got into it xD.....but its too bad I couldn't got into it the Mega Man series any sooner ._....well better late than never I guess.
