1. Triple post...Maaaay want to avoid doing that in the future.I did all the steps you stated, but it's not teleporting. I just fall in a pit and stay there.
2. Here's how to do it. I'll assume you've made the shaft's entry/exit already. First, you must create a thing called 'actor hits floor' (type 9999) and place it in the pit. When editing the thing, go into the tab 'action' and make the action 'teleport group' (action 77). Give the thing a 'source thing ID'. Move on for now.
Next, create a thing called 'teleport (Z height)' (type 9044). Wherever you place this thing, the previous thing will teleport to it. Go into the action tab and choose an unused tag number.
Now, go back to the 'actor hits floor' thing and go into the action tab. the tag number of the 'teleport (Z height)' thing is the number you must put into the 'target thing ID' section.
So, for example, if the 'teleport (Z height)' thing has a tag of 2, you must make 2 the 'target thing ID'.
