this may be a bit off-topic, but it's something to consider:
why not make cut man's scissors like the super adaptor's wings? when he throws his cutter, the scissors can disappear to make it look like they were actually thrown, and when it returns to him, they can reappear.

perhaps PU could be mixed w/ megaman 8, considering the prospect of them being in FC?
or it could be a separate chapter entirely if mm&b has new astro and tengu stages, PU should have the PU expansion in it, just no X series, except maybe the first.

i think doc robot needs a little work. his leaf shield ROF is ridiculous, considering the size of the projectile and the damage it does. it should function as an actual shield, like wood man's shield (minus the leaf rain). and possibly slightly buff heat tackle, as it doesn't do a whole lot for him atm.

i did notice a few things in-game that could be changed (won't affect gameplay, just cosmetic changes) so i figure now is a good time to mention them... we're not gonna release a whole new version just for these little things

-enker's bot name color is ck, but his campaign boss name color is cf

-punk's campaign color scheme is red-on-brick red atm, it should be red-on-white
(probably to maintain screw crusher colors, but no idea, really)

-the ballade cracker's color scheme is purple-on-yellow for some reason, it should be purple-on-lavender
(i think this was by popular demand, so it might have been intentional, in which case, ignore this)

these are so miniscule, it probably doesn't matter a whole lot, but just throwing 'em out there
don't hate me for nit-picking  :cool:

i always thought quint in grenade man's stage would be fitting, with all the machinery 'n stuff
but bass AND quint both appear in the campaign's stages, and would have to be removed for that, most likely

but someone else composing the new songs answers my questions about the MM7 expansion

and since MM7 and MM8 require(d) much editing and ripping from FC remakes, MM9 and MM10 will be all the easier

Igniter ---> Frostbite (duh)
Tacticalbomber ---> Heavygunner (slow + OHKO bombs = weakness)
Heavygunner ---> Trickster (simple, powerful on weak 555 health)
Raider ---> Igniter (blades severing his fuel pump)
Trickster ---> Quickster (stun bombs and AOE freezing quickster)
Quickster ---> Closecombat (teasing w/ speed against short range slashes)
Rageunit ---> Luckylass (angry skull beating down weak little girl)
Luckylass ---> LIM (array of varying attacks confusing LIM)
Closecombat ---> Greatshielder (shield is now useless)
Greatshielder ---> Busterexpert (Protection against simple busters)
Busterexpert ---> Homingseeker (low-mobility magnet dude)
Flightunit ---> Rageunit (flight makes tossing attack useless)
Elementspecialist ---> Tacticalbomber (settin' off his bombs or freezing him)

there's a problem presenting us, it seems...
-if we have too many types, it'll be too complicated to be worth the time
-if there's not enough types, some weaknesses won't make sense
gotta find the balance :/
-fusing air and electricity would be questionable, because then flame man would be weak to spark shock. which doesn't make sense
-fusing water and ice is somewhat plausible, but then plant man would be weak to water wave, which makes even less sense
-however, small things, such as grouping boomerangs and needles together, would be more applicable and create less clutter; it would make sense for a boomerang to be effective on knightman due to his shield only protecting his front side
-knight crush could be a bouncing weapon, and sakugarne could be a physical attack
-junk shield might be classified as a toxin and not shield because there are so few toxin-like weapons that it would be the preferred choice, but since the only nature weapons are barriers, they could be a shield type
-since magnet missile and dive missile are so debatable, let's make them homing weapons
