well... i'll fix mine up a bit, then. i wasn't sure at first because when i drew it at more of an angle, it looked really cheap. but, hey, i'll give it a shot again... y'know, trial and error...

EDIT: okay... this looks considerably better. it may be a bit big, but you could resize it however you like. i also did the firing animation, but eh...
the first is idle, and the second and third are firing frames.

finished. it's no work of art, but still pretty good for my standards of custom spriting.



the mega buster is there for a size comparison. i scaled it down just the tiniest bit, to fit on-screen. (a la enker)
i was using the official mm5 art as a reference. and i watched a gameplay video to see how it would work.
probably just moving the sprite down and to the right a bit would look fine for the animation.

I especially liked Skull Man. His gameplay style makes you THINK!

welp. i would have moar wins, but tengu's power stone caught me by surprise. besides, my wins fell solely on the proto upgrade that i found. since this is a tourney (that i never knew i entered to begin with), gotta get me some moar wins!

"The Great Moby Chase" is based off of MP6's "Granite Getaway", no? Not a bad idea, it was my favorite minigame.

Aaaaanyway, remember the Single Player modes from MP5 and MP6? Remember those multicolored Koopa Kids? *coughmegamankillerscough*
So... yeah. I also have more ideas. I'm like that, you see...

Gyro Man's Stage
-You can use fans to travel to different islands. Elevators can take you to higher places.

Cut Man's Stage
-A giant sawmill. (?) Spaces can send you through a grinder, which leads back to start, and takes away all your screws and weapons.

Grenade Man's Stage
-Many swinging hammers and explosives await in this mechanical madness! Getting hit by hammers costs you 20 Screws!

Screw Crusher
-When used, throws a straight Screw Crusher at a random enemy. It'll destroy one of their weapons!

Sakugarne
-When used, it lets you ride the Sakugarne for your next turn. Steals 10 Screws for every player you pass.

Thunder Wool
-When used, it floats above a space. The player that lands on it will lose their next two turns!

Minigame: The Keeper Strikes!
The miniboss from Strike Man's stage, The Keeper, attacks. One player controls it, and attempts to smash the other three! If the three are alive after 30 seconds, the team of three wins. If the solo player defeats them all, that player wins.

Minigame: Dust Crushin'
Four players attempt to avoid Dust Man's press machines. The last player alive wins!

Minigame: Suzak versus Fenix
The minibosses from Solar Man's stage, Suzak and Fenix, are dueling! One player controls each, and must destroy the other!

i just had a thought...
wouldn't mega and proto (and bass, if he's included) be the "kirby-style" characters of this game, such as copying the weapons of robot masters? (fyi, 'twas EK's avatar that sparked this thought)
