Aura, why did you pull the official robot masters off the wiki?

Updated Game and Watch.

Hah! Those were the ones I was going to use, but all I could find was that one thumbnail. I found the actual sheet, and I just haven't worked on them yet.

As far as Dopefish goes, it's a maybe; he has a fairly large sprite.

To be honest, I agree. I wanna find some better sprites.

On a small side note, since it is Mr Game and Watch after all, how did you feel about there being no rotations?
Cause frankly, if there WERE rotations, you realize that anything at a sideways angle would be skinny and hard to see, or else it loses it's effect as to who Game and Watch is supposed to be.

I spit that out in like an hour simply to appease you, since it seemed to me to be an easy skin to make.

Quick bump, updating the op. Check out my new Zeke skin, from Zombies ate my Neighbors!
It's v0.5 atm, as it still needs full rotations; right now, it only has four.

EDIT: also did Mr. Game and Watch, but I didn't bother to put in any rotations because... it's Game and Watch, he doesn't HAVE rotations...

Hey guys, it's a wiki. Sign up and you can add them yourself, or get someone wiki savvy to do it for you if you wish.

Updated the op was all I did. Fixed the download links as well, in case anyone was looking for these.

I also plan on working on some future skins. I've got some good ideas.

I just double checked, and we're both wrong. He's some weird grey color.

It was pretty bad. I played it for about fifteen minutes and shut it off; like the Duke Nukem game boy game, it rips off an original PC game, makes it look horrible, and adds their own storyline to it.

Yeah, Keen (and all other humans in the Keen universe with the exception of the only black character, Princess Lindsey) are white white white. It's strange, but that's just how it is. And yes, when using white or pale colored weapons it DOES look kinda weird, but it wouldn't be Keen without it.

The Gameboy Keen game ruined it, since it wasn't being done by Id and was just some bullshit cash cow garbage disowned by Tom Hall, creator of the character. Not only does he have an actual flesh tone, but it's orange. Like, Jersey Shore orange. WTF?

EDIT:

I didn't play his games, so I didn't know... *Goes to Metalman's v1C Stage, sits in Hole of Shame*

Dude, seriously, check them out. Get Dosbox, download the shareware games Keen 1 and Keen 4. Keen Dreams is in a weird abandonware state so you might find it for download as well. Keen 6 isn't availible anywhere anymore so it's warez but you could probably find it easier than the others. Plus there are three huge mods made that allow you to play three whole episodes (fan episodes mind you) for free. Finally, the others are really cheap and on Steam I believe.

Added Commander Keen skin+bot to the OP. On the Roboenza server, I mentioned the idea behind a Keen skin and people were excited, so here ya go.

Help & Editing / Re: Why do I receive an error when I add sounds to a skin?
« on: September 03, 2011, 05:56:49 PM »
Figured it out.

The PK3 format has a very specific dialogue on the zdoom wiki explaining where everything needs to go. It says sound effects should go to the "sounds" folder. Except in the cases of SKINS, in which the PK3 file ignores the entire directory structure; custom sound effects actually go in the root directory. Just a protip.

So apparently no one else read the zdoom wiki (I am not surprised) and just guessed correctly and got it right. I'm the only idiot who followed the instructions and got it wrong. What the fuck.

Yeah, that didn't work. Which I knew wouldn't work because the length of the file names in the Doom engine follow the 8.3 filename rule. My files are 6-7 letters long.
