After reading the front post and seeing how it mentions 8 stages, I wanted to go ahead and confirm: best-case scenario, is there any room for the possibility of Wily stages in this mod down the road?

Yes, that's typically what MM8BDM expansions have: maps (with textures), skins, and weapons representative of each RM from the game and the Wily Stages. Usually, there's also some form of campaign similar to the core campaign, where you do DMs through each of the stages with a non-player boss capping it all off, but that's more icing on the cake than anything; the DM content is the main focus.

Or you could have it spawn underneath you if you're a certain distance from a wall, then zip you up to the top of it like a Wheel Cutter. Considering the existence of Item-1, having Item-3 act as slow and clunky as it did in MM2 is just a downgrade from what we already have, especially in an arena shooter.

Cutstuff forum and authorities have nothing to do with what happens on the individual servers. You're going to have to find who the host(s) of the server are and ask them yourself.

Well, if you're looking for MM8BDM expansions, there's also the Rockman No Constancy expansion, but the issue with that (and, honestly, every single mod ever made for MM8BDM) is keeping up compatibility with the current version. If you wanted, you could go digging around with Slade and make it compatible, but it's pretty old so that could take some patience.

Oh, do you guys use DB2 anymore? I figured it just didn't have the capabilities that GZDB did, but it's been forever and a day since I "mapped", so I wouldn't know.

Try opening up console (usually mapped to the ` AKA the tilde button) and typing in "handicap 0"

Sometimes if you zoom in too much on your screen, it removes your HUD. if you have "zoom out" (idk if that's actually the name of the command) bound to '-' as I do, try hitting '-' a couple of times

I'd recommend replacing it with v5, then. I know that when I had v4 taunts, some of mine didn't work, so I imagine it's significantly worse with just having v3. You can probably find a link to it in the CBM discord.
