Thats all the help i needed, I took a look into the PAR of some maps in various map packs, and then the .ACS files of all of them and found a big hunk a code simplifying the GetCVar junk and adding par to it. Thanks for the clue to the puzzle!

Quick question, even if it doesn't involve doombuilder it involves mapping. How do you do the boss music and victory song WITHOUT having to use the "if(PlayerFrags() == GetCVar("fraglimit") - 5){" kind of scripts seperatly in all of your maps, and only have that global type of one. I noticed when checking vanilla maps for some examples of scripts for gimmicks, i noticed none of them used the GetCVar method.

If this is hard to understand and worded weirdly, I'm sorry. I don't really understand coding in general all to well, let alone zandronum's coding

Alright the results are in! I'll be leaving this map pack with its old name, for it's the more popular choice!

Otherwise here's a checklist of maps I'm working on in order of when I'm doing them, whether it be for this or other expansions.

Once Eon01 and 02 are finished I will release a small demo of the two maps to show whats to come and act as a basic mapping portfolio for fan-expansions I may wish to work on in the future (like dos and MMV).
After Eon05 I will release a second demo so there will be some more content and not just be a 2 map mappack sittng in the corner, but after that all 15 maps will be finalized for the complete version 3 before releasing another version for you guys![/s]

Alrighty then, I am changing this from a solo map pack to a collaboration with some people from the Insanity Classes mod, so I am shifting focus, I guess? If I feel like making a map that isn't for that map pack I'll just post here.

Hello all, Jake here. I've been letting this topic sit untouched since summer of last year.

Over the past few weeks i have gotten a reinvigorated motivation to create maps with the new version being out and all. And i gotta say, I've been missing out. Comparing how the 2 maps I am currently working on (that have been shared in the screenshots thread a few times) to the current version. I can definitely say i have improved.

The first post has been updated to feature news about Version 3 and newer screenshots of the two maps. I have decided to completely start from scratch once again and redo everything and create newer maps as well. I am going to shoot for the big 15 to get into the projects section, and I do have proof of my work so if I may ask. Can this topic be moved to the Works in progress section?

Meanwhile I have a question to ask: Which would sound better EMP the current title because of my old username, or go with the generic JDM (Jake's Deathmatch) for consistencies sake and to make it easier to correlate with me. I will start a poll on this and check the results whenever it seems like there's a clear cut winner.

Yeah I have a map pack I haven't updated in forever, but I have been working on recently. I can safely say I have improved since the current version of EMP so no need to worry that Bit man will have the lower quality of my older maps.

I know this project has seemingly died, however i wish i could be of some assistance, this project seems to have been revived (considering the new project you and Gospel have began to work on) I want to take a jab at doing fake Blademan's stage.

Hey anyone know what format the new maps are in? I tried opening Burner Man's map in Doom Builder 2 and it wouldn't show up. Atleast that's what i assume the problem is.
